  1. Removing the need to hold the "quick voice memo" to use the feature.

    Holding the tiny button down is daunting. I send my friend long voice messages instead of voice mails, because you can save them as audio files on your phone.

    It would be so much more convenient to hit the button once and then again to stop.... Or holding the phone up to your ear to begin recording and putting the phone down to stop, which you can do in iMessage on iPhone.

    If this can't happen, at least allow an option to open the voice recorder via MMS recording options.

    I love Textra, but recording audio messages is important. Convenience…

  2. When replying to some from the incoming message the only thing that will work is the period

    This is a down fall for me about the punctuation not working correctly. When replying to someone from the drop down.

  3. Creat folder and assine sender to auto move sms.

    Option to creat folders. Rename it. Like business, personal, bank, offers etc. And assine senders to appropriate folder. When new sms arrives automatically move sms to folder as per assigned sender.

  4. The app is nice but I cant receive messages if the app is closed or not in use. Cant even receive messages if my phone is locked.

  8. To rotate pic directly in app not in gallery,

    I receive a lot of pics on documents. In the most of the times they are not in right direction for reading. Much more easy for us will be if can rotate the pisc directly when we wach them not in gallery. A saw this option in another app and I think is very helpfull

  11. Option to mute sound while in a conversation doesn't always work.

    I guess i was wrong. In your older version when you were in a conversation, the option to mute sound worked even if the display was off. I thought this was too much.
    But now, it barely works. The sound only mutes sometimes. I can be holding my phone and in a conversation and it still makes a sound. Not sure why????

  12. Have chat heads like facebook

    I like that I can easily toggle in and out of facebook sms when doing something such as playing pokemon go and it does not interrupt the app that I'm using . Whenever I quick reply with textra it pauses the app and that forces me to have to switch to facebook sms when playing .

  13. Text bubble have gradient option like iPhone messaging.

    The bubble itself only allows one color for send and receive. It would be nice to have gradient support for the bubble, a touch of white or black to give it a 3d look.

  14. Option to show full message in quick reply when phone is unlocked but not when phone is locked.

    This allows users who want to use quick reply to do so without giving up the lock screen privacy offered by the "no message preview" option.

    Mysms has a REST API that can be used by other clients to add support for syncing using through their service. They have a Java library available on their site.

  20. An app is only as good as their customer service. I am not getting important texts or notifications from VA, etc. I've tried to contact Text

    I've tried several times to contact the developer & no response. Please help or I will uninstall this app. Since 7/8/16, I only get texts from one person
