I have been using Textra as my default message app and like it except for one big issue. When I try to send pictures, I find that it frequently hangs. I believe that the problem is the large file size of the photo (2Mb). I can go back to my default app (native Samsung Messaging app) and it will automatically detect and compress the file and quickly sends it in a text. I cannot find where Textra can do this. Any thoughts?

Set own light/dark hours
I enjoy having the light/dark times. It would be nice if we could also set our own time range rather than have it calculate a default based on location.

backup and restore options, imessage
only thing that's missing is backup. also, if you could figure out how to trick iPhones into thinking this is imessage, you'd be the only one. that would be huge.

putting text in different files
like in gmail I can take a text and put it in a file like "work" or "friends" more useful for non saved numbers when customers text you information.

Sim 1 Sim 2 Option
Hi I super love textra that I bought it at your cheapest but best quality app!!
In addition to that, I would like to commend the beautiful graphics and all. And if u mind, I would like to suggest that instead of numbers 1 or 2 in sim options, maybe we could change it to sim name and its the users option to edit the way she liked it be name, or put an icon instead of words. I hope this could reach you and u get to think about it. Thanks and more power!

Textra on my Samsung j1 ace doesn't show which of my two SIM cards is receiving a text... on other dual SIM phones it does... please improve on this feature for this type of phone

Dual sim auto text update
I have a dual sim phone and I use two user profiles on my phone, one for each sim card. On my primary sim I use Textra and on the other one I use Android Messages. When I receive texts on my second sim/second user which uses Android Messages and then go back to my primary user and Textra, I would like for Textra to automatically update my messages.

Opening the app
You should make it to where when you've opened a conversation and go to a different all but leave Textra open when you click the app on the home screen it opens back to the conversation you were in.

SMS / Long address name
Currently, long contact name will appear cut short on TO: address name. It is very inconvinient to know who is who.
Also, if we click the contact name, please make it drop the number and type of number
(ie/ WORK : +6255855888)
3.When entering one contact name, please make it remain on the TO box. I hace to keep it hit + button to add additional names. very tiresome

Notification if Message not sent
I've had it happen twice now that my message did not get sent successfully, and the app did not notify me of this until days later. If a message fails to send it should give you an immediate and clear notification of this.
