    Be able to set a group name for group messages. Would help for work, school, family, and event groups.

  5. Add messenger, IG, twitter

    Would be great to add other social media platforms so everything could be in one place rather than keep having to switch apps. At the moment other apps do this, would be great to see this brought to textra. Please bring social media messages into this app so we can get notified and reply straight from here..

    Hi.
    Record audio messages is à very good idea.
    However, the audio quality is very low, and this fonction is not exploitable.
    Thx if you can upgrade that.

  7. Hide Content on Lockscreen

    I know this feature is available in my phone settings, but I just want to be able to do it to my messaging app (for security codes that get sent to me). I'd be nice to see the other content notifications and just have this one hid.

  9. ATTACHMENTS

    You keep taking good features off of the app. The plus sign when composing a message used to give you a choice of adding an emoji, taking a pic, or choosing a pic from the gallery. Now it only lets you choose an emoji. Please stop making the app worse.

  12. Photo resized before sending

    long, long overdue... the ability for large photos (file size or pixel sized large) to be reduced to a selected standard before being sent with text.

    This rears its head with several iPhone users.
    I text a high megapixel photo and they don't receive it.

    If I reduce it to about 1MB, and resend it, it goes through.

  14. Mobile OR CELL Numbers

    when composing a message show both MOBILE OR CELL PHONE numbers.

    All my contacts show Cell phone numbers not mobile
    I will have to change all to mobile if this can't be fixed. A lot of work. Most people use the word CELL phone not Mobile but could include both definitions.

  18. Making a call to contact while his msg window's open

    Will textra ever support the feature which allow you calling contact whenever you put the phone to your ear while the contact's message is open? This is supported by the basic android's message app, and it's very convenient.

  19. Writing text message with Stylo pen

    I have a LG Stylo 4 that allows me to write messages instead of typing but this app will not allow me to scribble my text using my pen. If you can up grade that, that will be great! But I'm loving the app so far! Great job!

  20. Auto-add groups

    When creating a group text within Textra, would be very convenient if this group could then be automatically created within the Contacts on the phone as well, instead of the other way around. This is especially handy when sharing a photo, video, or anything else from the "Share via" screen built-in to Android through another app. Currently, you have to manually select each individual person in the group, or back out of the other app and open up Textra and do it that way. You can only do this with certain types of attachments through Textra though.
