  1. Allow add recipients while writing a message in existing conversation

    When in a conversation with someone, while writing a message, the ability to add an extra recipient!

    Scenario: I'm texting with a friend and decide to ask him for say dinner, but can't just add his spouse or more friends to the message, to extend the party!?!?!

    Currently we need to mark all, cut, back out, create a new message to all the relevant ones, and then paste in the message. Or forward it afterwards, splitting the conversation. It really drives me nuts...

    (The lack of this basic feature goes for native messaging on Android and Ios as well)

  4. Blacklist based on keyword

    Some jerk keeps giving my number out as there. I'm getting a million text messages from different numbers, all asking for this specific person. I'd like a blacklist option of block any message that uses ___ word

  6. Save Favorite Color Schemes

    I would love the option to save a favorite set of colors - like if I worked out the perfect red and green for Christmas and wanted to use it again the next year. Like right now, I love the colors I have now but I'd like to try something new, but I'm afraid I may not be able to remember the exact same colors next time.

  10. blocking by keyword

    i love the app but it cant do anything to stop spam that comes from different numbers with the same message repeatedly. in addition to blocking by number if you can do a keyword blocking that would be a great value for your app since there isnt really any sms app out there that blocks by keyword.

  11. Lost the ability to adjust per-contact vibration pattern

    I have read the "Android 11 - Notification and Bubble Concepts" post about notification, but I can't find the vibration pattern in either Textra's settings or my stock Pixel 2 Android settings.

    Where did this go? It still works, because patterns I set previously are still working when I receive a message from those contacts.

    when contact is active? it would be nice to see if they read your message and when the recipient is responding to text

  16. Blocklist number series

    Add a series number function like caller apps. Allow starting with, containing, and exact match. That would help block area codes or numbers phishing with neighboring numbers.

    any chance of including more options for the screen color in the app. instead of having it just. be light, dark, black, maybe throw in, option for image choice for background or gradient options to choose from in addition to light, dark, and black.

  19. group chat upgrade

    Allow for editing in group chat say you want to add another person. Allow it to be done not have to start all over again with who's in the group chat.
