  1. Message Delivery Cosmetics

    The delivering of messages is currently within the chat bubble. It would be nice if it was an option to have it displayed under the text bubble. it would also be helpful to have it displayed on just the last text, very similar to what apple has for it's messages.

  5. Unsen

    Textra won't allow responses to certain kinds of texts. For ex, when Duke Energy texts to ask if power is back on & tells me to text back yes or no, Textra gives a message not sent error. This is similar to, for ex, an invitation I heard on a podcast to "text the word podcast to 66866 to get a listener survey." The text supposedly sends but I don't get a reply. When Textra adds a country code of 1 before the number those texts still don't receive replies, which means they aren't being received.

  6. option to customize theme

    can we have an option to customize background color. also only icon of numbers not in contact list shown be chosen by app but text bubbles should remain default only...another thing could we have separators between different chats...

    On the new Xiaomi MIUI 12, personalized notifications icons on the notification bar don't work.
    I can only see the default icon. Please update ! :-)

  9. Option to sort MMS by sent time instead of received time

    often times MMS comes in delayed and put of order. it would be good to be able to have Textra auto sort by time sent instead of time received because that is out of order.

    Should we be able to write/prepare a message without any recipient ("send to") just before selecting them... ? There's no text windows as long as nobody isn't selected ;-(

  19. BULK PROCESSING CAPABILITY NEEDED

    Here's a flowchart based on a bulk processing capability available in the MyMail email app for Android:

    1) SELECT by Keyword or Sender / 2);SELECT ALL / 3) CHOOSE A BULK PROCESS - click on desired action on menu bar or from drop down menu - Block, ±Send to Folder, *Delete
    *selecting Delete pops up the proverbial warning 'Are You Sure? '
    plus the NO & YES buttons

    Delete &
    Block Number are essential.

    +Send to Folder - it would be nice if a future version of Textra includes a reasonable amount of customizable folders or perhaps additional hidden holding…
