  1. Sent/Received Icon

    A small icon on each conversation that changes depending on whether the last message in the conversation was sent by you or by someone else. E.G. a return arrow symbol next to messages that I sent.

  2. More Color Options for Customization

    There's a ton of great color options, but sometimes they're too bold and bright which makes them hard on my eyes. I'd love some pastel colors!

    Hello,

  4. Text Forwarding

    it would be great if you could forward the text you receive to a different line / phone. some of us have multiple lines and work/home lines.

  5. Read messages out loud

    Read messages out loud when connected to Bluetooth. Example, will read ur messages out loud while in the car through the speakers. YAATA has this feature which is very nice.

    I wish Textra developers could make an email app, being as good as sms app. It's hard to find good email app on play store to replace gmail(got worst then used to be).

  7. Allow move to SD card

    Hi - I love the app, and have used it for years. However, it takes up a lot of space, and there is no way for me to move it to my SD card. Would absolutely LOVE if you could allow that option.

  8. Provide ability to block non-numeric numbers

    I receive messages from an alpha ID which varies each time I receive one. I would like to be able to block all non-numeric numbers.

  9. edge lighting with Textra heads up!

    I prefer Textra heads up over Android heads up but I have to use the Android inline reply to get my edge lighting to work on my note 9...I wish I didn't have to do that and could just use my textra heads up pop-up notification and have the edge lighting work.

  10. Swipe actions in the conversations list.

    For example, swiping right over a name in the chat list 'mark as read', swipe left 'delete conversation' (with an eventual confirmation button). Even make the swipes customisable.

    Is it possible to see if the person you are texting is typing a reply? For example Facebook Messenger has the ... to let you know the other person is typing.

  16. Blacklist SMS via word filtering

    Please add this feature, this is very helpful for ads that are from the same advertiser but uses a different number each time, making it impossible to blacklist them forever.

  17. "Do Not Disturb" setting for notifications

    It would be cool to have a timer you could set to disable notifications between certain hours. Say you're at school and get distracted by your phones notifications, you could set Do Not Disturb mode for 8-5 and not get any notifications of new text messages.
