  1. advanced messsaging

    hi, can Textra include some sort of proprietary chat, like signal or what mood used to have. that way Textra users can enjoy read receipt and typing indicators when messaging each other, and still be comparable with all other sms user(think imessage). Textra is amazing, offers so much, but just falls short on this.

  2. Blacklist by phrase

    Blacklisting by phone number works well for known contacts, but spam is often sent with the same or similar phrasing in the message from multiple phone numbers (and sometimes appears without a phone number at all)

    Blocking by phone number is not enough, please implement blocking by phrase.

  3. IMPORTANT REQUEST TEXTRA (PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY)

    Textra has no Long-Press to Copy, Paste, Dictionary, Translate, etc while Samsung Message still has, this is extremely important omission, think carefully about my request. Thanks Delicious

  4. Show indicator if last text in conversation by sender.

    Have an icon or color on text in conversations list if it was last sent by me. Right now the conversation list shows part of the last text. There is no way 5o tell if the last text was by me or other person. Great app so far!!

  5. full RGB/Hex possibilities for colours

    I'd like to be able to choose from a color wheel or a color matrix as in adobe softwares (or even MS Paint 😋). it'd also be great to offer a color scheme based on the color I choose

    Cool feature would be a pull down like one UI so you can reach the top message. Especially for the bigger phones like the s10+ and note9

  9. Filter out "Likes" messages

    in group chats, i-message users can "like" a message someone sends. Textra currently displays this by copying the message and saying the person liked it. this can be a problem with long messages or multiple "likes"

  16. ANONYMOUS TEXTING

    It would be awesome to have the option to make your messages show up private(unknownmessenger) just as you can do with your phone number when making calls bcuz I like to be able to keep my number private and don't have that option with this messaging app...other than that I luv texts and have bn using it for a while:)!! Ty ...plz consider this option:)!! It would put this app on a whole new level !!

  17. Flag or star important messages

    Please allow an option to flag ot star important messages/messages to come back to. For example in the menu that allows pinning, have a star or flag icon. Then have the icon beside the avatar like the unread message dot.

    I think a sort of "do not disturb" type auto responder (customizable message) would be good for those who drive a lot or don't text at work/school.
