would be nice to be able to add more contacts to an existing group text message thread. Or remove contacts.

Option to customize background by using your own gallery pictures
Please add an option for customizintheg app background and also the background of every conversation, I don't like the 'Screen colors' provided by app. And please make this change as soon as possible!

I save all my txt for later referral. There should be a search this conversation and search all txt. I should not have to do it manually

Please Allow Textra to show a Counter on the App Icon, showing how many messages we have that are unread. Please this would be great

typing animation when friends are typing
Please add an animation that shows when someone is typing. It is really nice to know when someone is right about to respond

Add a setting to disable swiping up to show the keyboard.
I have an s8 and when in immersive mode, you can swipe up from the bottom edge to show the nav bar. I can't use Textra with immersive mode because swiping up shows the keyboard, so I can't press back.

Galaxy S Edge Light Up.
It would be cool to implement the Galaxy S Edge feature that allows the edge to glow while the phone is upside down. Would be cool to select your own color as well.

Android auto sending bug
Getting the message "the app needs to be installed or updated" whenever I try to reply to a textra SMS through Android auto. Seems like others are experiencing this as well.

to turn-Off auto capitalization
would like the choice to be able to turn-Off auto capitalization. Sometimes I don't want to start the next sentence with a capital letter. ~And sometimes if I wonna do 2 spaces, I don't like how it automatically fills in a period. Then I have to stop for the few seconds to delete back.. 3 spaces: to undo that period and start my next sentence in lower case. =P can any programing /typing hero fix this? :D

Select All Messages
Would love to have the option to select all messages to delete instead of having to select one at a time because sometimes there are numerous messages & selecting one at a time is time consuming. Thanks for listening.

Remove myself from group chat
Since Android does not provide a way to do this natively, it would be great if Textra could allow us to take ourselves out of group chats.

Text Size Change
Be able to change the size of both 1. your messages within the chat and 2. The Sender name within the message list by pinching in and out within the chat or by using the volume buttons.
The default Samsung messengers do that and is great for accessibility reasons for people with impaired vision like me!

I'd really like am option where I can select from a few different choices that I can set when I'm asleep or busy so when people text me they'll get an auto-response of my choosing without me having to install a whole different app on top of this one.

simple attaching a photo
Why not the standard paper clip icon to simple attach a photo. Why the overly complicated multiple steps? Should be simple. Tap the paper clip , select or take a photo, tap attach then send.
I would gladly pay the pro premium if this were a fundamental part of your app.

Fix send delay - new update broke it!!!
the new send delay ravamp is great, but I have one HUGE complaint. You put the "stop" button separate (and right above) the send button. so now if I go to stop a message with an error or incorrect recipient it's very easy to instead IMMEDIATELY send it by mistake. please fix this. before when the cancel button replaced the send button it was perfect. it wasn't broken why did you fix it?!?!
