  1. New texts from the bottom

    With large phones like a note 7, it is easier to use your thumb on texts closer to the bottom of the screen. An option to have the newest texts at the bottom vs the top of the screen would be great.

  3. Send buttons for dual sim phones

    It would be nice if there are two SEND buttons on dual sim phones. Or at least that there is network name instead of number of sim slot.

  4. Notifications should get grouped together.

    If an individual or group sends me a message they each individually appear in the status bar. Examale, if you get 5 texts, there are 5 individual notifications in the status bar. There should be one notification in the status bar not matter how many texts are received. Example. Getting 5 texts, only having one notification in the status bar saying thr name of people it is from

  6. Inappropriate ads should be blocked

    There should be a way to hide inappropriate ads or select only "family friendly" options to be presented

  7. Ability to save color themes

    I like changing the color theme every couple of months or doing seasonal color combos. But because of the way the color picker is set up, it's hard to remember what shades I used before. I'd really like to be able to save different color/theme settings I've used before.

    For instance, if I change the theme colors for Halloween, I'd like to have a way to save my regular color scheme so I can return to it easily after the Halloween season is over (instead of having to change each color setting individually).

  11. Auto Delete Texts BY DATE

    I suggest allowing the user to choose to delete texts by volume and/or by "days passed since read". We already have the option to choose "Messages to Keep" per conversation (ie. keep only 25 sms per convo, etc). But I also want to be able to auto-delete texts once a certain number of days have passed since seeing the text. Meaning: I could say "Auto-delete all read texts older than XX days". PLEASE allow me choose as low as 1 day-----that's what I want to be able to do, ultimately). Note that it is important that the app should only…

  12. Scheduled Sending

    After one scheduled text is sent, even though scheduling is still on, the next text doesn't have the timestamp and will send immediately. You have to turn it off and back on to reschedule the time

  13. Contact colors

    If we have the randomly assigned color setting turned on, add a button to re-randomize. I like the random colors except for one person I text a lot but I don't want to go through the process of re coloring everyone. Should be able to just press a button and it re does the colors.

  15. Copy option for OTP based messages

    There should be a way to copy message directly from the notification . Like for the messages containing OTP or digit codes.

  16. Share To > Conversations

    From the Android share menu, I'd like to be able to share content to an existing conversation thread, like a group chat for example. Currently, you have to select each contact individually to do this.

  19. text zoom

    with pinch or volume buttons .. Samsung txt app uses volume buttons and it works well .. I sometimes want to change the font size based on the size of the message thread (and how tired my eyes are 😋 ) .. going into settings everytime is annoying.. thx!!

  20. Dark Mode follows system theme

    Make it so that when you toggle on Dark Mode in the system settings on Android 10 devices it triggers it in for Textra as well.
