Display Multiple Text Recipients
I wish I could see everyone's name in a group text. Maybe if only first names displayed or show names on multiple lines of text? I can turn my phone landscape/horizontal to see more, but sometimes I don't realize a text was sent to so many people.

Option to disable/enable notifications on a specific thread of group messages
On group text threads, sometimes you aren't interested in the conversation for one reason or another, it would be nice to be able to disable notifications for that thread until you decide to be interested again.

Use stock camera app for photo attachments
When attaching photos I take with my phone, I would prefer to use my phone's stock camera app. The camera that opens from within Textra does not have the full functionality of the stock camera.

Video chat integrated
Integrating video chat would make textra the ideal messaging app for those in business or having a friend call to say a simple hey.. It woukd take textra to the next level in communications.

An option to set an automated reply when you are sleeping. The text would say, "Im asleep and will return your text when I awake."
An option to set an automated reply when you are sleeping. The text would say, "Im asleep and will return your text when I awake." All texts recieved while in slep mode would be done in silence as not to wake you. This would allow the sender to kjow you got the message but will not be replying until later. Its great for those of us with work phones.

Ability to work with ambient display
Would like to see Textra work with ambient display. Currently this does not work unless other notifications from other apps are received.

I would like to block texts from a number i dont have messages from currently
It appears you can only block a person from texting you if you already have texts from them. I would like to block a number/person who I don't currently have messages from.

Blacklist textra
We should be able to blacklist textra dev messages. I'm really getting annoyed seeing them every other day. We can blacklist other users but not textra. This sucks.

Smaller max text input box
The text box basically grows until it fills up the top of the screen above the keyboard and then I can't see the message I'm replying to. Oftentimes I get larger texts with multiple thoughts and its a pain to have to keep closing the keyboard, reading through the text, and then opening it back up to continue my text.

Ability to view who texted last in the home view
It's impossible to tell who texted last without opening the text string.

Disable auto MMS downloading
In native SMS app I can download MMS manually (from operator). In Textra SMS all MMSs are downloaded automatically

Increase time and date size and color.
The color and size of date and time next to text are too hard to read.

Read the popup text to me
Popup text: "Text from..." and then speak the text when and earpiece is connected.

No sound in conversation needs to be optional
No sound in a conversation needs to be optional. We don't just stare at our phones all day waiting for the next text. I often leave the app open and walk away, waiting to be alerted, to no avail. I thus miss texts. Please fix this so adults can more effectively use your app. Tnx!!

Make messages more selectable for copy/paste
With google translate services in Android M, it would be great to be able to highlight specific words within a text and translate it.

The ability to hide messages . It could be called the textra vault and requires a passcode to view messages within it.
