  1. Longer intervals for repeat reminder

    I often hear a text come through, but I'm in a meeting or talking to someone, etc. A noise every 2 mins becomes a huge nuisance, so I have to go get my phone just to turn off the reminders - which defeats the purpose.

  3. material you ui theme

    I love the idea of each contact having their own color scheme, but for times where you just want an overall theme it would be great to have the program adapt to the system material you color

  4. Bugfix: Send message from physical keyboard

    Currently there is no way to send a message without touching the screen- even tabbing over to focus on the "send" button and pressing enter causes the "tapped" animation to show on the button, but does not send the message. This is standard on basically all email and messaging apps, and based on the animation triggering seems more like a bugfix than a new feature to me.

  5. Time interval reminders for unread messages

    So the reminders for unread messages is just the amount of times in 2 minute intervals. It will be great to switch it to or add reminders to choose the length in time intervals to keep reminding, like every 3, 5 10, or 15 min intervals .

  6. Toggle On/Off Reaction Notification Sounds

    I'll be honest, a lot of people love reactions, I absolutly hate them. I wish I could mute their notification sound. Maybe worm in a setting where they can be turned off, muted, or even the sound changed from just the default or set message thread sound.

  9. Visual improvements with subtle shading and outlining

    Many messaging apps like Signal and Telegram have slight shading and outlining across their UI and messages. These little details make things look much cleaner and more visually appealing, as well as making it seem less cheap and simple.

    Even as an option in the settings, subtle visual improvements like these improve the experience pretty greatly. Looking professional and clean goes a long way.

    And, to take it a step further, what if Textra adopted an option for gradient coloring, like Signal? On Signal, when you're customizing a conversation you can simply choose a color or you can choose two…

  10. Turn open source ?

    I wish textra go open source, since it a really good application and for some reasons :
    - we cannot check the security of this application
    - we can't trust your entreprise to not spy on us
    - your entreprise can have some difficulties and blackout this app
    - we can't extend this app

  11. Adding hyperlinks

    Need to add hyperlink for web links (i.e. tracking numbers). Currently, you have to copy the "text" that you select from the corresponding conversation/message rather than being able to simply press on the section within the text message of which opens up to the site you are looking to view (tracking number, URL, etc...).

  14. Back up blocked list

    I spend a considerable time during my ownership of one phone carefully adding various SMS senders to my block list, only to have to do all over again when getting a new phone. Please make that list transferrable or back-up-able.

  17. Effacer messages.

    Bonjour,
    Lorsqu'on déplace un message vers la corbeille, ne serait-il pas possible de le conserver pendant une certaine période (voire 30 jours par exemple) avant qu'il ne soit définitivement effacé. Un changement d'avis est toujours possible. Merci.

  20. Choose how to silence notifications

    Instead of just being able to long-press a conversation and hit the "notifications off" button for that particular conversation, how about providing two options instead. One option would allow silencing JUST the sound (but message and status bar notification would still appear) and the other would work as the current button does, silencing notification sounds AND visual cues for that particular conversation.
