It would be great to be able to compose and store canned messages for use when needed. As part of my job I frequently have to send the same long message to different people throughout the month.

Quick Emojis
Verizon Messages+ has a quick emoji feature.
While typing certain words, the words get surrounded by a rectangle signaling there are related emojis for that word.
When those rectangled words are clicked, the associated emojis pop up and and quickly be selected/added.

How to stop Textra from automatically inserting periods
Textra was working fine until a week or so ago. Now whenever I dictate a message (SMS, Android) and pause for even a second or two it automatically inserts a period (punctuation).
Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Move "blacklist" in popup menu
I accidentally blacklist my contacts too often because of your menu design. When an SMS popup appears for a received message, the top menu item closes the popup. When it's an outgoing message popup via my "share" option on my phone, the first menu item is "blacklist". That means I often select the first menu item on autopilot because it's how I know to close the pop-up. My suggestion is to either move the position of "blacklist" further down the menu, add a close option to the outgoing text popup, or add an "are you sure you want to blacklist?"…

Compose options when sharing in-app
The option to select a conversation when sharing through an app. Currently, we can only choose contacts.

crop/image editor built in to Textra to edit attachments before sending.
Other apps have a minimal editor built in to modify attached photos before sending. This editor can include features like cropping, rotating, marking the image with a pen to highlight certain regions.
Currently I have to modify it in the android gallery app that I use, then open Textra to send it there. This created two versions of the photo and clutters my album.

"Liking" a message
On messenger and other SMS applications many of them will allow a " liking " function. Please include this?

URL link conversion error with "."
Punctuation at the end of a URL should be ignored when converting to a clickable link.
A URL followed by a "." at the end of a sentence or message includes the "." in the link sent to the web browser, resulting in a "not found" error.

MMS Lock issue 7.0 - Force service restart
For the MMS lock issue, a Textra enhancement could notice the android version, carrier type, message failure and then automatically trigger a restart of the android service causing the issue. A cell phone's purpose is primarily for communication, so if the service restart causes a temp outage with other applications, that is acceptable. If this is really a sticking point, it would be a simple matter of making the service force restart a user configuration toggle switch in the settings menu.

per contact notification settings
it would be great to be able to change notification settings for certain contacts. e.g. I could make it easier for my wife to reach me than my work.

il serait bien d avoir la possibilité d envoyer une réponse rapide déjà configuré. Des réponses que l on pourrait configurer depuis les paramètres.
On pourrait les ajouter depuis le +
