  1. better integration with maps to send location?

    I don't know how difficult it would be but two things where Google messages really shine is RCS and sending your location

    I understand that RCS is difficult but how difficult would it be to have a feature to allow someone to have live location access or to send your live location to someone?

  3. SMS Übersetzung

    Translating SMS would be a great thing. In order to translate a Hungarian SMS into German, I currently have to switch to a translation app. Very idle.

  5. RCS messages...etc..

    There should be a RCS feature. Being able to see when the person is typing/responding back to your message. More customizable chat bubbles.

  6. RSC not supported

    I'm afraid I have to stop using Textra and revert to using the default text app on my Samsung Galaxy S25. For some reason I am no longer receiving responses to my group chats. Seems to have something to do with RSC messages. Until textra supports RSC, I can no longer use it.

    the group chat is not very effective. im having trouble with getting messages from everyone or deciphering who is sending the message. no bubble beside their message.

    does it have RCS since reactions work well to iOS ? could edit message. perhaps a double tap rather than. tap face to see all reactions. double tap 💕 💜 heart. or 👍. quicker to react

  9. Textra needs to implement some kind of access to history!

    I love everything about the texture app except where it's lacking with access to any history. With the Messages app that's included in Samsung phones, it allows access to deleted texts through its trash option, as well as any text sent or received is also included in the Phone app recents history.
    It would be great to see Textra add at least one of these solutions if not both to access deleted texts.

  10. Tabs For Different Text Topics

    Allow us to create tabs to save text conversations under. Work, Family, Friends. So we can use the tab that we want to when looking through many conversations.

    One major issue is the lack of message categorization by date on the message list page, a feature that exists in many similar applications. Please add this functionality.

  12. notification for sent but not delivered texts

    some of my texts are sent but not delivered. please add a notification option if delivery does not happen within a certain timeframe (5 mins maybe) so that I can resend. other apps already have this

    We can search for words across all messages, but it would be helpful to be able to look at only 1 contact and search for words/messages.

  14. changes to dual sim settings

    hey y'all! been a long time lover and user of your app

    I have a dual sim setup on my phone in order to keep my small business separate from my personal life. while part of me enjoys the integration of both sims into one message thread, it would be really nice be able to have more settings dedicated to dual sim use.

    separate inboxes as an option or maybe just an indicator of which sim the messages are attached to in the app would be nice.

    it's also problematically easy to change between sims with it being right next…

  16. Custom order for pinned contacts

    Currently, it seems as though pinned contacts are ordered based off the time the last message was sent/received. Having an option to order pinned contacts and keep them in a certain rider regardless of when the last message was sent would be beneficial on keeping my prioritized contacts in a certain order where they will always be

  17. Add tagging or folder functions to organize out of control inboxes!

    add the ability to either tag contacts an atom's to certain groups or folders so that one can easily navigate and find personal messages, family messages, promotional messages, one time codes Etc.
