  1. going to have to uninstall

    Sometimes I get notifications, sometimes I don't. The message is there as though it has been read. Also, you need to make it notify you with a sound ALL the time you receive a text, not like it it's now that when the conversation is open it only vibrates (if you have that setting checked, if not, you will have no idea unless you are looking at your phone) I know you said this is done intentionally so it won't be "annoying", as you put it, but I think that should be my option.

  2. notification icon in command window looks like regular message symbol

    On the command bar on android, have the icon look like the regular one, like an envelope almost, and also support LED case support and better multi window support, with resizable window that can be entire app.

  3. ditch

    The auto keyboard on the upswipe when I reach the bottom of an incoming text. It's unnecessary and cumbersome. I can hit the text box if I want my keyboard.

  4. Android emoji plug in

    I would like a plug in similar to the iOS plug in that is available that allows me to use the Android system default emojis that come with the hangouts app as opposed to iOS or th e Samsung default.

  5. Lock screen notification not working correctly in lollipop

    Before lollipop I was able to respond to messages without unlocking my phone. Now on lollipop I have to unlock my phone. Clicking the notification does not do anything...

  9. Support contact-specific notifications in Lightflow

    Trying to set contact-specific notifications in Lightflow does not work because Textra does not appear to set the messages as "read" on the android internal SMS database like most other apps. This behavior is seen if you check the stock SMS app after reading the messages in Textra they are still unread to android.

  10. Match Textra's Header Color in Lollipop "Recents" Panel To Theme Color (as it should be)

    In Android Lollipop, the window for Textra in the "recents" or "overview" mode is always the default blue color, even when the theme color is anything else, like green or red. This is really confusing when looking for Textra in my recent apps. The recent window header should always match the current theme color. This only makes sense.

  12. Indicate in the main window if I've started writing a message in a thread

    It would be very helpful to keep track of messages that I have started writing, but not yet sent - like in the stock app.
    I use this to remind me of messages that need to be replied to at a later time.

    Not sure if Air View is still only available on Samsung phones, but it's one of the first things I noticed was missing in Textra when moving from stock messenger.

    Option to hover over a message from the main screen to preview it (if the message text is longer than the width of the screen)

  16. Select the background colour for the notification drawer

    No idea of this is even possible, but being able to distinguish the notification drawer quick compose would make it easier to find amongst other persistent notifications, and thus that much quicker.
