Option to disable animations of sliding tabs/keyboard/textbook, etc. Have the items move instantaneously

Group contacts in folders.
An ability to group contacts into folders. Say you have different categories of contacts such as friends, family, work, ect... Would be nice to be able to group those contacts and even the ability to pin those groups.

Block spam texts
There's got to be a way to create a means to block spam messages containing keywords like "loan" or "weight loss" or the spam words of 2021 "covid," "stimulus check" and any word using a zero (0) as a O.

just like a number calling you. the notifications can be customized to many different kinds of fun shapes but what if there was an option to set a picture so truly everyone's textra can be completely unique 😁

Blocklist management
It would be great if we could delete the entire conversation(s) in the blocklist instead of just the messages in the convo. But the number should still be in the blocklist. The blocklist would look neat with less convos.

Pretty please let me bulk download all my chat photos
I have probably 50-100 photos throughout my text history that I want to save to my gallery. I can't find where textra caches them in the file system, so I'm stuck noodling through my sms history saving them one by one. Mega lame! Would love to bulk save them, even if it's just in a zip on my rootfs

Blocklist a number series
I want to block a number series. Spammers tend to change their numbers by small increments to get around blocking, but they typically stay within the same area code plus 1 or 2 digits.
For example, block all numbers that start with 555-12-***, or the entire 555 area code.2 votes -
A folder for 4 and 5 digit numbers
I currently have quite a few texts from 5 digit numbers that i could just delete, but as i'm lazy, i would rather just have them automagically put in their own folder.

Viewing Locked Messages, etc.
A way to view locked messages in a conversation. when clicking on the top right within a conversation, an option that will show you a list of messages you've locked. Additionally, a way in the media folder to be taken to the part in the conversation when it was posted.

Light and Dark mode
An option for Light and Dark (how it used to be) instead of Light and Black. Dark mode is so much better looking than Black mode, both should be an option.

Move SIM button away from Send
In my daily use I never have to switch SIM cards when sending sms, and I suspect most people also don't change SIM a lot (when already writing the message). Having the SIM button right next to the Send button is prone to accidentally tapping the SIM and sending with the unwanted number. The SIM switcher button should be moved away, in a harder to reach location.
