  1. Pixel 3a Android 12 unable to send text.

    Settings/Apps/Textra/SMS App-Manually select Textra as default SMS app. Selecting this option from within Textra did not work.

  2. Message tone

    The message tone hasn't worked for me on my galaxy note 10 for about 2 are more month's, their isn't any place to add your message tone either, I've loved this app up until it stopped working, I paid for it and now it won't work, please fix it back please.. Thank you and God bless

  3. Notification vibration

    Please let us customize the vibration notification pattern or use the system vibration pattern. The default one makes me anxious. I've noticed that other people have been suggesting this feature and it has yet to be implemented.

  4. pins for chats

    being able to PIN sent messages and come back to them later.

    simply being able to PIN a message and find that message in a wall of lost text. Countless times the mother of my child will send me messages for things that are important and I'll read them and as we text they get LOST in the void. Would be nice to have a feature to find them again that isn't search, that's where pins come in. If I pin a message, It'll take me back to that exact message in the chat history.

  7. Allow sorting of blocklisted numbers

    SPAM is one of the top 3 challenges for mobile phones users... SMS spam is the toughest to address as spammers use unending different numbers to ghost their own real number.

    Textra has done a few cursory improvements to help customers with spam. I am grateful yet it doesn't scratch the surface of the need.

    First: Give users robust control over reviewing the blocked list using filters. This is not a convenience request; it is necessary to manage the neverending hundreds upon hundreds of blocklisted numbers users aquire.

    Accidentally blockisting a righteous contact is a total nightmare to correct.

  10. Set Image as Message Icon

    It would be a great customization option to change the bubble for each message in the app to be an image instead of just a color. Just like setting a profile pic but for each person individually or per group message.

  15. Swiping Options / Other Requests, Features

    PLEASE ADD THE ABILITY TO CHANGE SWIPE OPTIONS (i.e. reply, read/unread, etc). otherwise, we have to long-press on the conversation in order to complete such tasks with the exception of call and delete which can already be done.

    Also, please add option to customize avatars as far as size as well as having the ability to tap on contact image/avatar to process whatever task (ex. deleting multiple conversation versus having to long-press a conversation and so on.

  16. improve text contrast in auto colors for accessibility

    hi there. I love the auto color theming. However, on occasion, the hue and contrast levels are such that the text gets a little harder to read. In general, making sure that overall a bubble is darker and text lighter or reverse would help. Could basically limit the ranges of auto selection in a different way, perhaps. Thanks for Textra :)

  17. Change color of group text bubbles

    To help avoid embarrassing message deliveries it would be great if message threads sent to more than one person had bubbles a contrasting color, so, when we tap on the thread seeing someone's name, we know it's only going to them if we see the default color. Thanks!

  20. Specific privacy notification options

    I would like texts from designated conversations to show up private on my lock screen, but not all conversations. I would also like the option to be able to read them on my smartwatch but not my lock screen.
