Scroll notification
Would be helpful if the SMS can scroll in the notification. I am often requested to enter an OTP which was sent per SMS. If the complete message scrolls in the notification, it is possible to read the SMS and thus the OTP without opening the application.

Bubbles more like iPhone

Correct Group Contacts handling
Textra incorrectly handles Group Contacts.
When sending SMS to a Group and contact in a group has more than one number - SMS is sent to all number of the contact.
I think Textra should send to Default number only. If default is not set - then Textra should ask to which number send a message.

Create a list of blacklisted numbers that can be turned on and off as a whole.

contacts should have a ring around their portrait colored the same as their bubbles
On the main conversations page, all contacts should have a thin ring around their portrait that is the same color as their customized bubble color, to help users keep track of favorite/frequent contacts, or to help distinguish contacts with the same default name abbreviation.

Gboard has a great GIF searching and sending system, with great quality too. No offense to yours, but options wouldn't hurt

Adding Contacts Without Having to Keep Pressing +
This was in an older version of the app, and I absolutely loved it. For example, if I was on a page and wanted to share the link, I clicked share and the quick compose came up. It automatically had my fav contacts come up. I was able to select multiple contacts (without having to press "add contact" each time) and send the message. This allowed me to share webpages to my favorite people in seconds (all individually). It was so fast and incredible.
I miss it. Bring it back!

Allow for Textra Bot to receive commands, such as: "/remind me to [activity] in/at [time], for example.

GIF support with google keyboard
I'm unable to put a gif into a conversation using gboard. Works fine on other apps, thanks. I'm using a nexus 6p on stock android 7.1.1

Chat Heads!
pretty much like Facebook messenger. it's just messenger is too cluttered when you use it for fb and SMS together. It'd be cool to have a floating chat head option for quicker replies and so I don't have to exit my app just to answer a text

Transfer Blacklist
It's common nowadays to change mobile phones yearly or every other year. Whold appreciate if there is an option to transfer blacklisted numbers to new mobile phones.

Conversation Organization

Character count
Please add a character count, so that if a message is long we can decide how many characters arrive in one text bubble before it's broken into another
