  1. Web links preview in textra

    Option to preview a web link in tetra before clicking on it. in iOS generates a sort of preview of the link. The preview does not include a thumbnail of the website/link however it does show you what the title of the target link is.

  2. individual notification sounds on group chats

    when someone text on a group chat it gives you only one options of notification sound for the whole group instead of the chosen notification sound given to each contact

    I've had apps that you could leave an automated out of office type message. Great for when your unavailable.

  4. Differentiate different numbers of a same contact

    Contacts can have multiple numbers, so it would be nice if I could instantly see which number the chat is (mobile, work, home, other, etc.).
    If WhatsApp can do it, I know you can :)

    Also maybe add the option to change settings for the whole contact, that'd be great :o

    You should be able to choose group or bulk when making a group instead of in settings because sometimes you want to send a text to multiple people and sometimes you want to make a group

  7. Fitbit Charge 3

    Work towards compatibility with the Fitbit Charge 3, in the context of message notifications going to the Fitbit, and the future feature of replying to texts from your Fitbit Charge 3, as advertised by Fitbit. Can this be worked towards?

  9. No Sound Notification on Note 4 - I Tried All the Suggestions

    Apparently this is a common issue, but I'll have to quit Textra unless I can get it to notify me with a sound on incoming texts. I tried all the listed suggestions; none works. Any help out there? Thanks! This is for A Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

  10. repeat for scheduled sms

    add a repeat every XX often for XX times. everyday for 3 times. hourly, daily, weekly, annually, even by minutes. :-)

  12. More Customization

    Hello, I would really enjoy if your app would let us use a custom sound for when a message is sent, as well the design of the main screen and popup.
    I would also like a feature where the day night mode uses true black, good for OLED devices, or even custom backgrounds like allowed on the Samsung app
    I love the app but just wish it was a even more custom app. Thanks

    I really like your app but for years I have been using the Hello SMS app because it has a side bar at the left for recent contacts. I would like to see this feature in Textra.

  15. expiring self destruct mms and text messages

    Textra is the best, but it will be better if it had a feature like what's app. Sending a message to people with expiring date and time would be ideal. if I send a pic to someone I want it erased within a certain time limit and day.

  16. Create a task from the SMS

    From a SMS, create a task to be processed later. The task would have these properties:

    Job title: SMS + sender name
    Description: the SMS text and it's date / time
    Category: let the user choose in his costumed categories (used in his calendar or Google tasks app)

    This would be great, because Textra does not really manage a status like "treat" / "done"

    I love the theming options on this app! Please update the status bar appearance to be the same color as the top of the app (as in new material design apps from Google).

    Is it possible to have a 'select all' feature inside the thread, so that you can uncheck / lock some messages and delete everything else in one swoop from inside the thread?
