  2. Ability to hide messages with easy access

    Others have mentioned this also but it would be nice to just hide/block messages from prying eyes but with easy access to view.

  4. Bubble Design

    Would be great if the chat bubbles were grouped up and space in between bubbles was reduced. Also there should be even lighter colours for the chat bubble background available to choose from.

  8. Send/receive SMS from second number (on single SIM phone)

    Would love to use my (single SIM) work phone to also send/receive SMS from my other, private number. Private phone can be always on and in the same WiFi network, with Textra on both phones.

  9. Ad placeholder at top of thread list

    Sometimes when I do not have great service or my phone is lagging, the ad at the top of my thread list has a delay before appearing. When I want to select the top conversation the ad will appear at the last second at the top causing me to accidentally click the ad and bring on much more delay and frustration waiting for my browser to open and load the page. I support the use of ads, however it would be great if a default thread object was left at the top of the thread lists even when the ad…

  12. recipient choice

    it's annoying that you choose a new message with the icon in the bottom-right corner, then you choose a contact but don't have all of the telephone numbers under that contact as an option. It only allows you one contact number under one individual contact. Some people I have more than one cell phone for that I may want to choose a different cell phone for a message but can't.

    I have all of my vibration settings on "off," but the Textra keyboard still vibrates on touch. It would be great if we had the option to toggle this on or off.

  17. Copying multiple messages

    I wanted to forward SMS message thread comprising multiple messages to another recipient so when I forwarded the chain all messages were concatenated to one another so please see if some structure can be adopted such as simple new paragraph separation or maybe an option can be given where user can select whether multiple SMS messages in a thread to be forwarded as separate messages or single. Thanks for the great product.

  18. Option to turn off emojii bar

    the emojii bar is wildly distracting to me. it's a constant flashing of colors between the keyboard and the chatbox. it's bad enough I might swap apps if I can't turn it off soon.

  19. Send SMS within group

    This is a go0d messaging app but I think 1 feature should be added in this app... That, Is I want 2 send a message in a group consisting upon 10 members... Due 2 some restrictions, I want 2 send message in that group with the option that every recipient will receive the message with the interval of 5-10 (choosen) seconds... When I send a message, app has an option that after sending message to 1st member, app should delay 5-10 seconds delay to send message to 2nd member...

  20. Function to gag specific people in a group chat for specific period of time

    Sometimes in a group when you're trying to get things done people say stuff that doesn't add to anything or are just simply annoying. It be nice to gag them until you finish the work and then ungag them and let the stupidity continue
