  1. Vibration patterns work on Android 11 with Textra build 4.29

    If you search for Textra 4.29 on ApkMirror and install it, you can once again set custom vibration patterns even if you're running Android 11. Textra needs to bring this feature back, as clearly Android 11 isn't blocking the functionality. Give the people what they want, not one long BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

  2. Create a group as a contact so you don't have to save a thread forever.

    In the current messaging program I use that came with the phone one of the contacts is groups. This way you can just tap on the group and send a text message instead of having to choose every person in the group every time or save the thread forever

  4. blurry gifs problem.

    text message carrier setting is a default 300kb, your gif will be compressed to that making it blurry.
    Go to Textra settings/MMS and adjust the carrier setting up from 300kb to 600 kB and problem is solved... Nice clear gifs

  5. separation of new messages and contacts

    having saved contacts and messages from new numbers separate could aid in filtering spam messages, i get blown up with spam and having messages from new numbers in a separate location from my preexisting contacts would stop my inbox from being so cluttered

  6. Black text on light bubbles

    Some lighter color bubbles default to dark text and there is no way to change that. At times it's actually worse on the eyes. There needs to be an options to change text color per thread instead of being forced to use dark text on lighter bubbles.

  7. Silence specific text strands

    It would be nice if I could make certain text strand notifications silent, where I would receive the notification but no vibration or noise. For example, I have a work text strand that can get busy and annoying. I don't want to completely mute it in case something important comes up.

  12. calling numbers error

    in previous versions of the program I had automatic marking of calling numbers, now I only have marking of sets of numbers for date, time, bank and account id ..., but for a series of numbers starting with + nnnn there is no link for automatic calling. Best regards Your loyal user.

  13. 2~3-Line Signature & Hard Return

    For Signatures could you please code a HARD RETURN AFTER the last line of the body of the text being sent to whoever? So that the Signature "body" starts & stops on its own line(s). As of now the Signature seems to blend into the body of said text & IMO, makes it hard to differentiate between the end of the text message & where the signature begins.

    Also, it would be nice to add my email address or a hyperlink to a webpage or a quote (like "Have a Good Day!") in my Signature as well.
