  1. Textra on the Pixel 2

    I was receiving some but not all of my text messages on Textra. Seems like it specifically affected texts coming from iPhones. I love Textra, hoping there is a simple fix it setting and it's not my carrier, Verizon.

  2. The bubbles look awesome but the letters seem a bit crowded

    Kindly have an option to adjust line spacing in bubbles.. It will increase readability.

  3. easily creating a new text thread

    it's not easy to take an existing text thread and add/remove a contact. so if I have 15+ contacts and wish to remove one contact, I have recreate that thread 1 by 1. would be nice add/remove from an existing and Bam! new thread done.

  5. Contact colors in group chat

    You should have an option to change the colors of individual contacts in a group chat, but the change only effects the group chat.

    I like the idea of having the quick voice memo icon replace the send button initially before typing but I would love it if tapping this button activated voice to text input rather than just attaching a voice recording.

    Emojis should pop up when word is typed, like "frown." Verizon Messaging does this

  8. custom sent sound

    I have the send message delay On and the "sent sound" on and I really want to use a custom sound file for it but no one really has that option and those that do are terrible apps anyway. I can't imagine adding that would take much work at all. otherwise, this app is perfect for me thank you!

    I've used other text services like Mood where they had floating chat heads but I love Textra. So I think Textra should add this awesome chat head idea.

  13. Offer pre-made color schemes / theme templates

    I love that you give users lots of ways to customize the app. that's part of what makes Textra so great! however, sometimes I just want to quickly change my color scheme. having to choose from the multitude of background colors, and then also pick an accent color that looks good with the background color is just too time-consuming. to be clear, don't get rid of this feature for those people that really want to tweak things.   14. Add a 'Flag' option to a message

    Like in email it is useful to flag a message for future action. This is different to marking a message as unread.
    Then to be able to filter on flagged messages.
    Finally if it is possible to add a badge starting the number of flagged messages.

  19. Message Counter

    Would like to be able to see the amount of messages (sent / received / total) by month / billing cycle. Maybe have an option to put add a limit and percent bar so users that are limited can see when they're about to run out.

    Other stats like percent breakdown across contacts, amount per contact would be nice to see but aren't really needed.

    I request this because I was looking for other apps that do this for more, seems like something that should be part of a messaging app even if its not something that would be wildly…
