    When I am viewing a conversation, click the down arrow on the right, then click the 3 dots by the sender's #, it pops up a blank drop down menu (where I think the choices are add contact or copy number?) Galaxy S8 on Verizon. thanks

  2. messages for web

    can you offer "messages for web" as Andriod is now offering and as Apple has done for a few years? this will allow to text from my laptop.

    I love your app and don't want to use android text app to also use their new web messenger.

  3. Long press on app icon, compose, and trigger keyboard

    when performing a long pause on the app icon a list of contacts appears to send a message. tapping one takes you to the texts for that person. this should also trigger the keyboard to appear so you can start typing right away.

  4. Preset Messages

    The one great feature missing from your App is the ability to insert customizable preset responses or Messages such as "On my way" etc.
    This is a huge factor for driving. Also I am an Independent Contractor and I send the same text over and over to different clients. It is a hassle to constantly have to type in the text.

  5. Chat Button position

    Please consider relocating the "new chat" button further up from bottom of screen as it is too close to the back button on my Samsung Galaxy S9 & I accidentally hit it

  10. Improved Send Delay

    Send delay is one of the best features of this app, but it could be improved by allowing further customization. I'd personally like to be able to adjust by half second increments. This would allow some of the other commenters to adjust for longer delays as well which I noticed was a common theme in the previously posted suggestions. Or perhaps a feature that would delay based on message length? A selectable amount of time per character? I always just miss stopping messages with typos. But if I add that full second I end up wishing the message was already…

  11. remove the MAKE DEFAULT APP button

    Hi, I'm a paying user and it would be great to get rid of the MAKE DEFAULT APP button at the bottom of the screen. I'm trying to use the new Android messages for web (seems that textra and (Android) messages should coexist). however, this prompt in textra ruins it.

  12. companion for work phone

    I have two phones, a personal and a work phone, I would like to be able to find a handy way of running textra from my work phone so I wouldn't have to carry my personal phone. an iOS textra program that would allow me to log into my other number would be perfect

  14. auto saving pictures but not gifs

    I really like the idea of saving pictures automatically, but gifs need to be excluded from that option. they are filling my gallery up like spam

  15. sync messages from other apps.

    If I'm using Textra then change the default app back to the standard Samsung app it doesn't collect those messages

    the heads up notification when locked option doesn't appear to be there anymore, just when unlocked. bring back!

    As the title says, a web service like https://messages.google.com
    that uses Textra as main messaging app (and reuses the phone preferences, like chat color, emoji pack, ...).

  18. Scheduled Messages showing Creation date/time NOT Scheduled date/time

    Scheduled messages in the message thread display the time and date they were created, NOT the time they are scheduled to go out. This is confusing as there is no easy way to verify when the message is scheduled to send after creating it.

    It would be much more helpful if the scheduled time was displayed in the message thread along the clock icon INSTEAD of the date and time the message was created.

    it would be cool to add a favourite column at the top of the message screen when you want to compose a message In textra select a favourite to jump into the conversation instead of having to compose a message first
