this is more a suggestion to "bessermachen" than a new idea.
often when i will send an sms the receiver isn't available, neither by name nor number.
but of course when i go to my contacts the person is there - and from there i can send the sms.
strange...!?

Filter SMS by SIM1 and SIM2
App should be able to filter SMS by SIM, this feature can be added. As the user may need to check SMS on sim1 or sim2 only, this feature may help the user to locate the SMS on a particular SIM, or the user may want to see SMS on only one SIM.

How to change/personalize with a downloaded song not in the options
When I had my A51 I had my husband/daughter/&son's phone & text (using Textra) notification sounds set to the Ohio State Fight Song (they are all alumni) - everyone else's is okay to be one of the preprogrammed notification options on the phone. I figured out to add the song as their ringtones. But I am having difficulty being able to figure out how to put the OSU Fight Song into the text sound options menu... It is a free download on The Ohio State University athletic department's website. It is available to be downloaded in 3 forms.

Integration with Tasker or MacroDroid
I use MacroDroid and Tasker to automate a lot of things on my phone. You can create rules so that IF something happens (e.g. day = Monday and time = 10:00am), THEN do something (e.g. turn on wifi, turn on bluetooth, etc).
At my job, I often get text messages or calls for certain IT related issues. Often times, I don't care about them and just block the calls and mute the messages. Home screen blank space
The home screen that shows your conversations is too full and busy, I'd love to be able to move all conversations down and either include a search box, a help and a settings icon, or something so only half of the screen is text rather than all of it. Similar to the way Samsung Messages or Google Messages does it. It's very overwhelming seeing all my conversations at once.

textra taking pictures of my home on its own when opening app
needs a way to block unauthorized photo taking if I choose for textra to not use my camera as it pleases than it doesn't work properly even if I choose to notify me and let me choose if it can use my camera

Add features of costumizing theme, and more as in Chomp.
Your chomp sms app is good as feature there but UI is boaring. This app UI is not boaring but it would be much better that the feature of costumizing theme and self face photo beside self text message in conversation. These are very cool features. Location sharing option and chat feature is also a best and essential features for messaging app. It would much better if you give these features also as Google message and Samsung message are giving. Make the SIM1 and SIM2 badges different colors do that it is easy to differentiate at a glance.

Remove photo/initial circles
I have used textra for the better part of a decade and the one thing I consistently request, and isn't hard to add, is the option to remove contact photos/initials (the circles on the left of messages in list) entirely. I want minimal and can't fully get it. I just want names, no bubbles/circles.

It would be nice to have possibility to setup the message center number!
In that case if your phone and your provider supports the VoLTE function and it is switched on in the phone, then you subscribe to the SMS service, when you are connecting to the network.
But if it is not supported one of the party, it is necessary to have the right message center number in the phone.

menu header display
I would like to request the option to customize the menu display size for example while riding this request it is the area where it says " Post Idea". I feel like the display bar takes up too much space on the top of my screen for users who prefer smaller sized font.

copy multiple sms and pasting on other apps
when multiple sms are copied and pasted to some other app say whatsapp, they are simply pasted one after another without any space or line gapping. It is advisable to put atleast space of one line between to consecutive sms text so that they become understandable and differentiated.

Remove self from group messages
There needs to be a remove self from group messages option. It would also be great to have a setting that automatically removes self from recieved group messages if you don't want to recieve group messages and don't want to blocklist anyone. Example: someone sends me a group message and I don't want to be a part of that group message and don't wanna block anyone so only the group message gets blocked yet allows the sender or others within the group to message you individually without being blocked.
