YouTube Feature Explaination
Textras has evolved over the years and I haven't been able to keep up with the fancy changes. if there was a detailed in depth YouTube video of "if you turn X on, you'll be able to do this" it would be beneficial to current users, and potentially bring in a lot more new users as well.
With detailed descriptions of features, users can customize it better as well.

Order people by recent conversation
when we go to create a message, the list of individuals currently showed alphabetically for EVERYONE you have texted. make the order starting with most recently contacted.

In line reply for Textra pop up notifications
A quick reply similar to Android pop up notifications. I really appreciate the feature that Android offers but I would rather sacrifice convenience in order to use Textra's notification as it is more visually appealing. Adding this feature would make the notifications feel more complete.

Allow create/new text icon
Allow movement of "new/create" icon to allow easier one handed creation of new message. If already available, please advise on how to use. I use left hand and difficult to reach icon in lower right corner

led notification
It would be nice if blinking of led when sms received could be customized the same way as vibration pattern.
This feature exists in Handcent app, very nice and helpfull.

Color code labeled contacts
If i have a couple contacts labeled under ie. "work" or "uni" can i assign a different color to each label?

Name a group chat
It would be great to have a feature where I could name a group message something like "Family Chat" or "The dudes". it would help me find the proper message quickly. I don't think this already exists. I tried to do this, but to no avail.

hi , this is by far the best txt app. it's more seamless than any other app I've seen , especially when using the BlackBerry Hub. keep the good work up!! how can I purchase this app to ensure no advertising etc in the future ??

Option to disable send button during delay
If a send delay is turned on, and the send button is pressed a second time, the message will send regardless of the delay time remaining. it would be helpful to have the option to disable sending messages through when they're on a delay until the delay time is up

video
please allow to select a video to send inside the app. Currently the only way is to select via gallery and share to textra. This is very cumbersome when adding a video to a group text.

go back to using media volume
It seems that volume control has changed to the same as ringtone and away from the previously-used media volume control. I'd much rather have it revert back to using the media volume since I like to keep that lower than ringtone

double texting gap

More Options
I love textra!!! But found another messaging app that I like too, called Mood. love being able to change background for each contact. They have 1000's of photos to choose from. Also had larger selections of colors to use for Avatars. This stuff would make textra so so so much better!!!

It will be great if in the reply to <contact name> button the contact name is hidden in lock screet when confidentiality is checked in settings.

Battery Saver
Animations cost a lot of battery power.
Is it possible to cut out the animations optionally and/or forcefully?
Like, normally when you send or receive texts, you get a small animation where the bubble fluidly moves upward and appears on the screen, whereas when you send one, the text box begins to send the text, it converts into a bubble, changes to the desired color and font, and lastly appears on the message history.
Would it be possible to program the ability just to flat out remove the animation process and just have the text bubbles appear on-screen rather than…1 vote
