Custom Vibration Patterns

While I appreciate the ability to select from the few options of vibration patterns I would really like the ability to create a custom vibration for different contacts. Most other messaging apps have this ability by entering time on, time off in milliseconds. That would be a great addition to Textra and it would become my number one messaging app.

    On my Galaxy S3 you can create custom patterns for different notifications. Very useful and important feature and I like the way to make the patterns too. Dislike the millisecond on and off feature

    I would also like this, I just moved from handcent to Textra and that was the first thing I noticed missing. I was actually kind of shocked it's not an option.

    yes I would love to cust9mize my vibration because I love getting short buzzes but not only one like they give you. I want at least 3 in mine so I can tell the difference between all other notifications

    I prefer 2 or 3 short buzzes myself. So why not let us, the users, give a number and then choose length of buzz we want (long/short), and the app changes accordingly! Seriously a necessary function

    This is a feature that I find hard to believe hasn't been added yet, since Chomp already has a way to do this. Please make it easy to customize vibration patterns, among the lines of Vybe Pro or the one found in iOS, Chomp's solution is a bit too scientific. :)

    The vibration patterns are hideous on this. Either too subtle or really in your face. I just want to short vibrations, but there is nothing close to that!

    I agree, the vibration patterns that come with the app are fine if I'm at home, but if I'm at school or reading, I don't need the vibration to be so noticeably loud or long. Customizable vibrations would be an amazing addition to this app!

    This is the only feature I actually miss from using other clients. The vibrator on my phone is super strong and I want something between barely noticeable and way too loud/long

    I agree...I would like to set specific vibrate patterns...Otherwise this is an awesome alternative to the stock SMS
