Auto respond while driving

Turn on custom or default automatic response when driving. Turn on manually or when connected to selected bluetooth device. Show automatic responses in conversation. Turn off pop up notifications when auto response on.

    hi there, I would like Textra to auto respond when I'm driving and bluetoothed into my car, like the Verizon messaging app does pls.

    After all this time, Textra doesn't care about providing an auto-response feature. This is good for out of the office replies to clients as well. Please continue to consider it's implementation, and option to turn on and specify the auto response....having several differen't custom responses to choose from.

    It could be as simple as another button option in the heads up display when
    a notification comes in the button for a pre set up message (in the settings g section) hit the button to send a "I'm driving" text with only1 button push without having to set it up to detect or auto send anything. Don't want to use it, choose a different option for your heads up buttons. Passenger and want to text, hit the quick reply or open app and text away.

    This is the feature that made me leave Textra for Verizon Message

    This would be great. I have this in my Verizon app, but I would prefer to use Textra exclusively. The lack of such an option is a deal-breaker for full-time usage.

    This would be amazing. On the g4, only the Verizon messaging app does this. I don't like the Verizon messaging app and don't feel that I should have to switch my default messaging apps every time I want to drive somewhere! I can't wait for this to be part of textra.

    prefer a simple auto respond that can be set by time and date so individuals know you aren't simply blowing them off.

    I love this idea! At&t driving mode app does this for the phone calls and text messages, BUT, takes over the phone screen when motion is detected. So you can't use Google Navagation or Ulysses speedometer app. This feature would be a great addition for us who use our phones in our older cars ('08 Honda Fit). Thanks!
