Is there a way to hide textra/texts if others use my phone?

app size
a way to delete data without losing all your settings. the app becomes huge and deleting data is the only way to fix it. maybe a way to access thumbnails of mms to delete them or just a way to save your settings

Text forwarding
I work in an area where devices are not allowed. I have to leave just to check if I have messages. It would be beneficial if received texts would populate in the app and be forwarded to an email I specify.

show total number
Please show the total number of messages in the inboxes. My old Motorola phone did this.
This would help with an archive function.
There should also be an option switch to put the most messaged at the top, instead of the last message.2 votes -
Group Chat Icon
Be able to change the icon next to a group chat. Like the profile photo for a group of people could be one image instead of 2+ that you could choose.

Number colors
give the colors numbers, to make it easier to match contacts with the same color

Hide a thread
Hide a thread so you can keep it for ongoing messages like Bill paid/due messages. A new message shows but after you've read it it disappears into hiding. You can always view it by using the contact text icon or shortcuts or unhide it.

Unthreaded Option
Option for messages to appear in chronological order as individual messages and not chats/ conversations. I use this on Blackberry to dispatch jobs for my business. Each message/ job is individual and not part of a chat.

reply to specific messages
To be able to reply to a specific message by swiping on a message which copies it and I can attach a written reply.

move the notification bubble
please allow the user to change the bubble location on notifications. when the keyboard popup appears it covers the bubble requiring the dismissal of the kybd to dismiss the bubble. if the bubble was at the top it would save keystrokes

Combine threads from separate numbers with the same contact
if someone has two numbers under the same contact they could optionally show up in the same chat thread with some distinction between the numbers. replying to them could have an option for which number to reply to, but could default to the one they most recently used, or default to one chosen in conversation settings unless either of you recently messaged with one of their non-default numbers.

Wildcard blocking
I get a lot of spam beginning with "ATT message". The is another app called "Pulse SMS" which has wildcard functionality, but a clunky interface. Why can't textra block by wildcard. As another user stated, "If my number were 4025012222, it'd be nice to be able to block "402501*" and instantly put a stop to all the spoofed messages."

More notification options
Can more notification options be added like your sister App Chomp SMS which has more options? Like a divider line between conversations or more vibration option instead of just being stuck with having a very short vibration when messages are received.

Search and delete
Once we search any word and results are opened. There should be an option to "select all" and delete.
By this if a word has been search and there are 100+ msgs.. So that it can be deleted within seconds.2 votes -

create the ability to create and save groups for certain people so you can just bring up that group versus having to put everyone into the group text

link pop-up
In your previous update, I could tap on a link and I'd get a pop-up asking me if I want to open. This new update doesn't do that. Any chance of bringing that back?
I have Samsung S21 ultra.

borders for bubbles
I'd like to see an option to have a thin border around the text bubble so say if I set everything black the bubbles would have a white thin border with white text.

No system notification while in-app
