move the notification bubble
please allow the user to change the bubble location on notifications. when the keyboard popup appears it covers the bubble requiring the dismissal of the kybd to dismiss the bubble. if the bubble was at the top it would save keystrokes

Combine threads from separate numbers with the same contact
if someone has two numbers under the same contact they could optionally show up in the same chat thread with some distinction between the numbers. replying to them could have an option for which number to reply to, but could default to the one they most recently used, or default to one chosen in conversation settings unless either of you recently messaged with one of their non-default numbers.

Wildcard blocking
I get a lot of spam beginning with "ATT message". The is another app called "Pulse SMS" which has wildcard functionality, but a clunky interface. Why can't textra block by wildcard. As another user stated, "If my number were 4025012222, it'd be nice to be able to block "402501*" and instantly put a stop to all the spoofed messages."

More notification options
Can more notification options be added like your sister App Chomp SMS which has more options? Like a divider line between conversations or more vibration option instead of just being stuck with having a very short vibration when messages are received.

Search and delete
Once we search any word and results are opened. There should be an option to "select all" and delete.
By this if a word has been search and there are 100+ msgs.. So that it can be deleted within seconds.2 votes -

create the ability to create and save groups for certain people so you can just bring up that group versus having to put everyone into the group text

link pop-up
In your previous update, I could tap on a link and I'd get a pop-up asking me if I want to open. This new update doesn't do that. Any chance of bringing that back?
I have Samsung S21 ultra.

borders for bubbles
I'd like to see an option to have a thin border around the text bubble so say if I set everything black the bubbles would have a white thin border with white text.

No system notification while in-app

search for blacklist
it is very good to add search to blacklisted massages . sometimes we move a massage to black list by mistake and its difficult to find it again.

Call Button in Conversation Thread
Would it be possible to add the call button to the top of the conversation thread? This would save some taps in case you wanted to call a contact instead of message back.

Choose mms storage.
Textra doesnt let you choose where you want to store mms that u save. Have note 20 ultra Samsung and it goes to Gallery automatically instead of Google photos. Is there a way to change this. Tks

Font color options for every single screen, window, menu... if it has fonts, it has font color options for those who have pain and difficulty with the glaring white font.

Notification Reminder
Hi
Been using the app for years; in fact bought the 'Pro'.
Love it, apart from one bit.
Could you (on next update) please have 'timed' reminders instead of 'frequency'?🙏🏼
I often miss messages when I've been away from my phone for say ½ hour or so. I have 2 reminders in frequency, but they end after a couple of minutes, and there lies my problem.
Say every 1-2-3-5-10-20-30 minutes.

Choose messages from contacts only
In the messages list, provide a selector that allows users to view only messages from their contacts, or only messages not in their contacts, or all messages. This is quite useful to clean up scam messages, one step security authorization messages, and add new contacts from. Thanks!

domain entry on block list
on my various email servers I automatically block Hotmail... also when I received spam in my company email I blocked the domain, it would be nice on the block list when entering a new block to be able to just clear an entire domain.

Me gustaría que algunos mensajes que nos puedan llegar los pudiera archivar para que no esten a la vista.
Creo que fijar los mensajes en la pantalla principal es útil pero si hay información muy importante se debería poder archivarlo y que no este a la vista o juntos a los demás mensajes.2 votes
