  1. custom sounds for inbound texts

    love this text app, and the only drawback I see is that there's no obvious way to customise the sound file for inbound texts.

    i switched from Android messages to Textra but it's lacking that important feature. Can we know when it will become available?

  3. No message when phone off

    I can only receive messages that are sent to me when my phone is on, otherwise those messages that are sent to me when my phone is off cannot be received even after turning on the phone, can you do something please.

    Let us pick the range for night mode to be on/off.

    I was wondering if you could add a feature to change all text on the app one color? I like my text white, but the text on the top of the app as well as the group/contact name is still black.

  16. emoji list

    have the emoji list categorized from left to right as opposed to it being vertical. that way the user can get to the "flags" with a few swipes to the left as opposed to having to scroll all the way down to get to them. This is the primary reason why I use a different emoji app. it's a lot faster to get to what I want to use. I don't think I should have to scroll though all 1000+ emojis just to get to the last one at the bottom.

  17. Stop closing app.

    If you need to forward something or respond to an incoming message the app closes immediately after sending. This is a nuisance if you want to send more content or type more than one message. Allow that to be optional.

  19. Share Dialog, shortcuts, not customizable

    PLEASE beef up customizability of the share dialog. Options we should have:

    "Sharing" to Textra should open the full app instead of a pop-up window.

    The share dialog shows your recent contacts instead of the current static "Android starred contacts" list. (This one is really hurting your image.)

    The app should be allowed to stay open after completing the share call, instead of automatically closing.

    We should be able to disable the numerous share shortcuts for individual contacts, which appear in the main Android share menu. (I don't need hot buttons for individual contacts; I just need the one button…
