  2. Option to hear notification sound when conversation displayed.

    I've missed a lot of messages as I often leave the conversation open and then attend to something else. I don't think this was a problem in the stock messaging app, I've noticed more messages that I've inadvertently ignored since I started using Textra - but I love everything else about it!

  3. The ability to download audio files

    The default samsung messaging app allows me to do a number of things when I receive an audio file including the ability to download the file, not just preview it

  4. Eliminate gradient in notification bar

    Continue user's selected color choice into notification bar without gradient. Flat colors are more consistent with material aesthetic.

    This is beyond annoying. I paid for the premium product, and I find this to be as offensive as Spam.

  8. bcc multi recipient messages

    When sending out information to multiple people at the same time responses to said message can make everyone's phone blow up with texts not meant for them. It be nice if you could designate a message as bcc like email so that everyone gets the message but only the receiver gets the responses.

  9. Mark unfinished messages as drafts

    Have app automatically mark drafts as a message that has been started but not sent. This would serve as a reminder to go go back and finish and send messages. Have these drafts moved to the top of the list of messages to help signal and remind you that unfinished drafts need to be sent. My current app does this and it is so incredibly helpful!

  10. Better copy support

    Would like to be able to copy parts (name, phone number or search word) of a message instead of having to only be able to copy the entire message to clipboard.

    The stock messaging app for the Galaxy S6 and other messaging apps have a scheduled messaging feature. I think it'd be really awesome to integrate it into the app!

  12. To give an option to switch between enter key and emoji shortcut.

    Sending an emoji is somewhat troublesome. Opening the media attachment to search for an emoji takes too much time.

    When I'm in a conversation with a contract and that is open, every new message does not give any notification, no sound.. So if phone's laying around with the conversation screen on, there's no way to figure out without looking at the screen!

    It's not hard for the developers. LG has an easy guide for developers and its easy. This would be a great feature for LG phones and even Samsung phones should get multi window too.

    Simply to show "you called person" or "you missed a call from peeson" directly in the conversation. It just makes things seem more intuitive, you know?
