  3. Day and Night Custom times

    I like to be in bed well before 9pm, but love the idea of the "day time" and "night time" transition, but the white screen is WAYYY too bright for me past bedtime and it's set at 10pm. it would be so wonderful to keep this day and night theme happening, but with custom times I can set myself.

  8. Time stamps

    Add time stamps such as "favorite", "today".."last week" etc within a nice short header to separate messages in groups and ✓ / ✓✓ symbols to mark all messages under the group as read/unread.

  9. Pin icon to heart icon

    Please change the pin icon to heart icon. Pins look just ugly next to our favorite contacts. Add a small separation header betwen pinned and pinned sections.

  10. Discard composition

    I'm a little surprised that your app doesn't have an option to discard a message that's currently being typed. let's say you have a 1000 character message and then you decide it'd be better to send an email. There's no way currently to clear those 1000 characters except for hitting the backspace key and holding it down for the next 30 seconds.

  11. In message GIF's

    please add a feature similar to Microsoft Teams where you can pause a GIF after being sent. It should still default to playing the GIF When received or sent. The issue is that when it sits in the messages and loops over and over it's a bit of an eye sore. Please implement ! Thank you.

  12. 'Mark as unread' feature

    Can we please add a 'mark as unread' feature to individual text messages? This would help to keep the OCD community happy :) I constantly accidently open text notifs to then get side-tracked and ultimately forget to reply. If after opening the text I knew I didn't want to reply right then and there, I could just mark them as unread to keep the notification alive as a reminder.

  13. rreturn to last used screen

    when I launch from home screen it always returns to the contact list .. I often have long conversations with a single contact or group and have to repeatedly select it to follow up .. would be more convenient to me if it just returned to the last used screen .. especially if I was in the middle of typing a response!!

  14. ripple support for emergency actions

    There's a app called ripple, that allows for emergency actions. Having the option to delete specific and/or all texts would be nice, and having the option to send out a alert that basically says "my location, i'm fine" or "my location, help" would be nice.

  16. Customize Chatlist

    We should be able to customize many different kind of colors for the background/font for the chat list. Or also have pictures as the background as well. More don't choices to choose from would be nice. Another thing that would be cool is animated emojis in chats.

  17. Help for the Tech-out of tough & vision issues

    I USE to be tech savvy, but change in career to law from engineering & I'm behind now! ... Idea, make it easier to find & change size & color of the date & time msgs are sent/received! - It's probably there but I can't find it! -- After hours on a PC, my eyes get blurry and the date-time is GREY & small, so I'm having trouble reading it! Otherwise, love Textra & it's 'black' mode - helps my battery life!
