  2. Whitelist for audible alerts

    Only messages from contacts, or those on a WHITELIST should produce an audible alert. In drop-down options, add "add to whitelist" and "remove from whitelist".

    I generally don't want to add everyone that texts me (about my Craig's List item, for instance) to my contacts, but I would whitelist them for a week or so.

    When I am done dealing with that person, I can go to the drop-down and un-whitelist them. Also, Textra should prompt to un-whitelist that person when I delete the entire thread.

    Maybe you should make this app were you could change your background, to like a preset one, or a custom one. That is something I would love to have in this app.

  7. Please fix the delay in sending messages

    Just fix the app darn it used to be great but crashes all the time now. I have to unload and reload once a week at least. Now I can't get the time delay to work at all.

  10. longer send delays?

    i would love the option to delay text messages 30 seconds or a minute because I have Asperger's and tend to double text all the time. having it delay longer allows me to collect my thoughts and edit the post again without having to schedule it or double text.

    Also it would be helpful if send button optionally didn't also bypass the delay because it's too easy to habitually click it twice.

  13. 2 options Forward msg to spam 7726 AND Fwd to spam

    Spam forwarding requires the message, awaiting a reply, then the number.
    Shorten typing by adding 2 options. Ive suggested a 3rd for blocklist /delete elsewhere.
    1) Fwd to 7726 (Spam) (MUST send # after)
    2) Send # to 7726 (Spam) (do after msg fwd)

    3) Blocklist AND delete message (suggested this idea as Single Function Blocklist AND Delete)

    This currently takes A LOT of steps/taps becoming time prohibitive or for some too difficult, especially if receiving a lot.

    Since you can't control requirements for reporting, shorten the steps for users in this app as above with reasonably easy to create…

  14. link to Your Phone on windows

    Textra is superior to the free messages app. that is unquestionable. but the Your Phone app is synced to the crappy messages app. when messages are deleted from Textra they are still in Your Phone, and i have to open the free messages app and delete them there. can this be fixed?

  17. Saved message selection

    Looking to have a menu of saved messages to send quickly. Such as a link to my Calendly or website, a quick message that I send as a reply to new customers that I use repeatedly. Basically a message comes in and I can have a quick response to select from.

  20. "link library"

    I understand that it can be annoying when users refer to another app. However, a feature that I like in WhatsApp is having all the links put in a library as you did with media, and honestly i feel that's one of the few things that is missing from this amazing app. What I'm guessing is you wrap the link in a specific (span?) tag to allow the phone/app to determine what to do with it (link, calendar, phone, etc). would it be possible to change the media library to a content library, with divisions for phone, address, URLs, calendars,…
