  2. Textra sms backup & restore

    It would be nice if Textra had an option to back up your text messages, so they can be restored when someone gets a new phone. Even if it's only a Pro user option, it would be something that one can take advantage of.

  3. Wear support - view conversation history and reply (WM)

    I love Textra however the Android Wear support is not fully fledged. Currently, Hangouts is the best available as it allows users to view the conversation history, no also Reply (WM) which allows users to reply with a canned message, or if you have Minuum installed, type your own message from the watch.

  4. Make Textra have the ability to send videos from any source, like my camera or SnapChat please!

    When trying to attach a video into a message, Textra will not show ANY video taken with my phone or other app in the list of pictures that i have taken. It only shows photos. If I can't use Textra to send videos taken with my camera or SnapChat then I will have to get rid of Textra. My default messaging app does this with no problem.

  6. Spam Blocking

    I have had a huge uptick of email addresses texting me porn links or asking if I want to shed 30 lbs and an attached link. It would be awesome to have a setting that would block all spam. Not necessarily block anyone not on your contacts because some of us have to use our phones for work. But maybe block anything with a link in the body of the message unless that person is on your contact list.

  7. Allow setting maximum # messages per thread to reduce storage usage

    Textra uses almost 500 mb of data storage but I don't want to delete entire threads... Still need to access relevant information from the last 500 messages or so, would be nice if it auto deletes the older ones!

  10. Consersation/contact themes

    Add the ability to customize each converesations theme (color, background, bubble style...) independently, as well as apply colors to each contact. (like in Google's messenger app) The default theme would be the conversation list page's theme, but once you open a conversation, there should be an options menu to theme the conversation, or to apply colors to each contact

  11. Provide some received text message details. For example, time received, etc.

    I receive quite a number or texts and I would like to see which time those messages were received. we have this information for outgoing messages but none for incoming ones.

    Please 🙏 please 🙏, we need user defined folders to dump old messages in to and yet keep the inbox clear. At the very least an Archive folder.

    Have the option to use this online so you can send SMS from your computer and have it sync to your phone. Similar to hangouts or mighty text.

    Better handling of select and copy. Select text, addresses and numbers and copy or even send to specific apps.
