  1. sending option through sms gateways or external apps

    the most i like about textra is the quick compose in the status bar.

    your apps sends the sms using standard sms package by the mobile carrier........if you people provide an option for adding or choosing sms gateways (which uses data packages i.e. gprs or edge or wifi) in the quick compose or in settings to send the sms by using that sms gateway........it will be great.......as most of our friends use free sms gatways to chat among us.........the apps currently i am using is free sms india for free sms theough data usage.....

  2. Allow contact pictures to be hidden/disabled from the conversation list.

    I personally hate contact pictures and the biggest selling point for a messenger for me is being able to make them go away.

    I hate getting included on group texts but hate even more when I'm included in the constant t back and forth. can we remove ourselves?

  14. Delete from most used emoji list.

    Press and hold to delete an emoji from the most used list. I experimented with emojis and now there is a bunch a useless pics on the list.

  15. Allow the app to adapt to the current font chosen on the phone.

  16. Add "Define word" option when text is selected

    It'd be nice to be able to highlight the word and hit a little dictionary button and a Google window will open to define the word

  17. Have custom fonts. I have a retro font pack that I downloaded but I can't use it on textra because it uses its own font.

  20. Conversation icon color

    Please, if its possible to change the contact icon color on home screen of the app, where all the conversations are displayed!

    Would be great if the icons with the name letters, was in the same color of the notification drawer you changed.

    If there was a friend with the almost same starting name latter, would be great to know the difference by just checking the colors.
