  1. Allow users to turn off the auto underlining of times and dates in messages! Now I get questions why I underline times in my texts!

    PLEASE allow your users to turn off the automatic underlining of dates and times in text messages! I understand it's so addressees can easily add a date/time to their calendar(s). I bet most NEVER do that with the majority of texts they receive.
    This "underlining feature" is now generating lots of questions from friends. They want to know why I keep underling times in my texts!
    This is VERY annoying.
    I should be allowed to turn this underlining off.

  2. Spam text

    For the love of God please add some spam blocking options.
    Like, block all except from contacts would be great.
    Block all from email, especially Hotmail.
    It cant be that difficult. If you valued your customers you would include these options.
    This problem is out of control.

  3. Text Forwarding

    being able to forward all texts to a different phone. let's say your phone is broken there should be a way to have your texts forwarded to another phone or email while your phone is being fixed.

  9. Facetime like Tool for Android users

    it would be a huge improvement if there was an option for video calling straight from the texting box. Plus android users need their own FaceTime tool !

    I am getting a ton of spam texts from email addresses. Can we get a way to not just block numbers, but to block names/email addresses as well?

  11. Build Better Blocklisting :-)

    Offer the option to automatically delete all conversations whenever blocklisting a number. This should increase storage space.

    please maybe think of a feature to add a section for numbers not within contact lists to better help filter spam out of the main inbox.

    imagine you're in the gym, before entering there, you turn on the auto-reply with the custom meesage like "I'm in the gym" so whenever someone calls me, Texta rejects the call and send this message

  14. Let me send text messages to an email address

    Every other app I've used allows me to send short messages to and from an email account. Can we please add this functionality? I am not allowed to use my phone at work but I could send short email messages to my partner's texts before changing to Textra and he could reply.

  15. Slow Mode

    When a group chat or text thread is getting lots of replies very quickly and your phone is vibrating non-stop, it would help to have a way to delay notifications for a certain period of time, e.g. get a single notification every 5 minutes that there's a new message, vs every individual message.

  16. text count

    I'd like to be able to have the option to add a text count to contacts. So I can see that Jane and I have had 142 texts since the last time the counter was reset.

    ability to customize everything, from the conversation list to each individual text message. background, header, borders, text color, chat bubbles, everything. please. chomp is smoking you in this area. I'm almost tempted to go back to chomp but your app is a little bit cleaner... I think I'll be switching back eventually.

  18. RCS

    I've just joined this network and I was trying to find any information on RCS implementation but, as far as I can see, the support team doesn't answer, why is this? I world really like for the RCS system to be added to Textra.

  19. Google Messages Tapback Reactions

    Textra did a good job hard-coding iMessage's tapback reactions to pin an emoji to a message rather than recieving the dreaded annoying emphasis text, but now Google Messages is taking a leap further to include their own RCS tapback reactions as well as SENDING iMessage the same annoying text that iMessage has been sending Android. For Textra to compete, this app definitely needs to incorporate their own RCS port as well as emoji reactions. I honestly might just switch over to Google Messages at this point.   20. MUST BE ABLE

    MUST be able to report spam/scam messages easily. This is a SERIOUS problem with Textra not being able to report these.
