  1. single tap delete

    I'd like to be able to delete with just one tap on the trash can, I find 2 taps quite annoying. There should be an option to switch between single and double in settings.

  2. Customize color and background for each contact

    I wish I could change the bar at the top of my conversation. Next to the contact name and picture, I wish we could change that bar color for a contact if we wanted. Also changing the background for each contact (off, gray, black).

  3. Incorrect Contact Names Showing Up

    Searched and could not find anything. I had this issue on both my LG G3 and now my Samsung S6. Any ideas? The wrong contact names show in the text box.

  4. Send delay improvement

    I really like the new send delay functure. I have a suggestion for improvement if you deem it worthy. It would be convenient if send delay had a button for send now and a button for cancel (it already has cancel).

    Change the black background behind messages to a different color or even themes/custom photos.

  6. Ability to see all media (pics, vids, voice recordings) for each contact in a convenient location.

    Maybe add the ability to see all the mms we've shared with individual contacts by pressing a button on the top right in the conversation view? I find myself often looking for old pics I've sent friends but they're buried deep in the message log from a bunch of months ago.

  7. Bubble size is too narrow

    Why is there blank space to the side of the conversation bubbles? It causes longer messages to appear in long narrow columns. The incoming and outgoing are different colors so the space is unnecessary.

  8. Display individual name who sent the last MMS in group chat notification. Now it just shows all members in the MMS notification

  9. Have SMS delete option in the notification bar itself. That helps in deleting unwanted SMS then and there.

  10. Can we somehow get backup of blacklisted numbers? This is needed when we teinstall android and restore sms messages.

    After phone backup and restore, and install clean apps /Textra too/ I get sms messages back but I have to reblacklist tens if numbers. Problem is that most of them I dont have in contacts /eg Internet commercials/

  11. Option to keep Pop-up open until closed

    Sometimes when texting, I want to send a follow up text immediately afterwards. I find myself doing this moreoften then not. The option to keep the pop-up convo open until swiped away or backed out of would be fantastic.

  12. Not all contacts showing

    Some people in my contact list that have a mobile number assigned are not showing. I have move the switch about "contacts with mobile numbers" a few times and even restarted the phone. They still won't show. But if they text me they show with the correct name and I can reply. But I can't just go to create a new message and find them or use the share via textra feature on a photo or video and find them. But in the stock MMS app they all show.

  13. Replace text "textra" from the top bar

    Its better to put "conversation" or "messages" on the top bar instead of "textra". And i think it is best to still put "textra" but on the top or bottom or beside "conversation" and smaller.

  14. Improvement for quick reply pop-up

    Make it so when you tap the heads up notification, it opens the quick reply window, but when you tap the notification in the notification drawer, it opens the full app

  17. Option to replace enter button to the emoji one. Options are nice, but make the enter button the default.

    Some people want fast access to the emoji button.

  18. A system to back up all text and MMS messages

    Maybe if there was a cloud based system to back everything up to, as well as the option to back up and restore from an SD card. This was one of the best things about Go SMS, and I would happily pay for this service. Thanks guys!
