  1. Make the ad conversation static for the free version

    In the non-paid free version, suggest making the space for the ads in the conversation list fixed or static. The reason being is that sometimes on slower phones or slower connections, I will open the app, quickly look at the conversation list, only to have it scroll the conversations down once the ad finally loads. This has resulted in many 'mis-taps' where I select the wrong conversation or even the ad itself by mistake because there is sometimes a delay in the ad showing up.

  2. Add a message counter to the Textra Icon on the home page. Textra would be an amazing app except for the lack of a counter.

  3. Swipe to next message

    Ability to swipe to next unread message without need for going back to Inbox every time. This help when there are many unread messages. This is very common in mail clients and really useful one.

  4. To preview photos taken with the camera before sending

    I'm not sure if someone has suggested this yet, but I would like to suggest an option to preview a photo before sending it. I noticed that if I take the photo through textra to send, I can't view it before I send it. It's kind of a hassle to leave the app to use the phone's camera and then attaching it to the text just because I want to make sure the photo I sent was clear or what I wanted.

  9. Select a full conversation

    I want to select all the conversation between me and a person and share it via email. But there is no any option to do that. Currently we have to select messages one by one in a conversation. If we have hundreds of messages in a conversation it will take long time to select all messages in a conversation and share it.

  11. Custom notification sound based on text content

    Sometimes receive messages with content from my home alarm. The content changes based in whether it's armed or disarmed. When the message string contains "armed by master code", I'd like to play a custom mp3 to indicate that, as well as disarmed, or any other configurable text string.

  12. Add a way to backup our texts to Google.

    There is currently an app called "SMS Backup +" which offers this ability. As good as Textra is this would be a good feature to add.

    Basically I just wanna be able to see when my messages sent, and when I received my messages. Instead of only being able to see some, I wanna see the times for all of them.

  14. Attachment icons

    After pressing the plus button to attach somethign, it would be great if there were mor icons. Like attach any file or attach video or attach a sound clip etc.

  15. Long incoming text message split up and out of order

    When I receive a long incoming text message not only does it get broken into many different messages but the order I receive them in is completely out of order. I have to scroll up and down to try to read and piece the message together

  16. For when Project Fi support?

    I love this app so much that I even have the pro version. But unfortunately I can't use on Project Fi. It doesn't support MMS and some SMS don't go through. Would be really good if you guy fixed this.

  18. Set emoticons on a per contact basis

    Some of my contacts use iPhones, others Androids, and others yet use Samsung's take on Android which all have different emoticons. Hence it would be nice to set which emoticon theme I want to use according to which contacts I am texting to so that what I see and what they see are the same emoticons.

  19. One of my conversations disappeared!

    After the 3.21 update (approximately), one of my conversations has disappeared from the list in Textra. The only way I can access the conversation history and text this person is to create a new message via the '+' button and then enter the contact's name. Textra then pulls in the history of the conversation. I do not get notified of any new messages sent from this person either, but they will show up in the history. Please help! I'm on a Nexus 5X running the latest update of 6.0.1, and just upgraded to Textra 3.22 but the conversation hasn't come…
