  3. Custom notification sounds

    It's really irritating that textra won't accept the notification settings for my contacts, or my groups. If I want a special alert sound for an individual, I must set it in textra-- VERY ANNOYING, specifically because I can't begin to alter the settings for a contact within textra until I text them or they text me. Then I have to remember to do it when that individual is finally on my active text log. Sheesh!

  4. Full Screen Text Composition

    Please enable an option or change the default setting to show the text I am writing in the full window instead a tiny composition window.

    It'd be way easier to glance up and see if I or something else messed up what I was trying to write.

    I need large text to see what's on my screen and my compositions trail off the top of the screen pretty quickly.

  5. Notification sounds

    I have too many sounds for everything on my phone and would very much like to record my own notification sound and use it. For example, record my voice saying "Textra" or "text" and use that for all incoming text messages. If this exists, please send instructions. Thanks!

  6. Open Full Textra App automatically when clicking text function in contact list

    Textra is a beautiful app, I hope my idea gets added. I hope that when you go to the contact list app of the phone and click a contact then click the text message icon, the textra app will open and open in full screen automatically. That we don't have to go to the options to click Open App.

  8. Picture/MMS/attachment notification

    I have noticed that when people send text with their pictures my notification bar only shows that I have a text message. This has often led to me missing picture messages if I respond directly through the notification bar and dont open the app completely. You should definitely add some way to notify people that there are pictures accompanied with the text

  9. MMS notification

    when using the Samsung default messaging app, whether you're using wifi or data, it shows when an MMS is being "downloaded" and if using wifi it notifies users that file cannot be downloaded. This feature would be beneficial especially when using wifi as I'm usually connected.

  10. MMS notification

    instead of trying to download the MMS file for an hour when data is off it should notify you instantly that there's a MMS to download; just like the Samsung stock app.

  13. WhatsApp or iMessage ??

    hey:) I have a question.
    how come it is possible to send high quality video from WhatsApp/iMessage and not at all possible on textra ??
    I use texra everyday but when I'm filming something and wants to send it to a friend I have to use WhatsApp (I'm using android) Google Nexus 6p.

  14. Rounded bubbles grouped over multiple texts

    This is the one look and feel feature I wish Textra had: an option for message bubbles that group multiple messages together and round the corners of the group. Messages, Pulse, and QKSMS all have variations of this type of bubble. If this were available in Textra, it would result in the best look and feel for a texting app, hands down.

  15. Clear recently used emoji list

    Currently the only way to get the recently used emoji list to clear is by reinstalling the app. I'd love to have a way to make it so that I'm not still seeing emoji in that list that I accidently tapped on a year ago. Ideally I would want to be able to go into the settings menu and say that if I haven't used this emoji in x amount of time, then remove it from the list. But I'd even settle for just a button that clears the entire list so I don't have to reinstall the app to…

    We have the great ability to change the colors of our message bubbles, but it would be great to change the color of the text as well besides just white, grey, and black.
