  1. Have an option to turn off emoticons being turned into emojis in messaging.

    In messages emoticons such as :) are turned into emojis and there's no way to stop it.

    optional of having the contacts in a list form, instead of how it is know ,and have the individual options in the settings. It would be so much easier the way go sms pro has .And some new bubble styles would be cool

    the ability to search by contact is essential. i rarely search for message content. i need to quickly find all of the messages from a particular contact. messages can get pushed way down when you receive multiple text messages.

  14. Bigger Quick-reply Window when the keyboard is visible

    I would like to have a bigger quick-reply window when writing back (keyboard visible).

    At the moment (v2.12) the window is pretty small and I can only read one line in the conversation. So it would be better if the window covers more of the empty space (between the status bar and the keyboard. Here's an screenshot: http://goo.gl/D0zAxd

  15. Customizable main icon app color. A red theme with a blue icon? Bleh.

    I'm only. of those people who changes the color of my app's icons or re-arrange all apps to be of a certain color when I change my wallpaper. since Textra is an app that will remain on my main screen regardless. I'd love to be able to change its color.

  16. Customise number of lines of the text previewed in "inbox"

    Customise the number of lines of the text previewed - options of 0 (so only the name is displayed) to 3 (so almost all the text is displayed - depending on whether it is a single SMS or not).

    If you keep your inbox tidy - you will be able to see more of the text content - or alternatively, just see who the texts are from - so can decide whether or not to read them
