  1. Put a feature that unblocks "offensive" words so they save in the dictionary. That would be cool.

  2. You allow for custom contacts notification tones. It would be nice to have different tones for different contacts.

  4. Ability to quickly change font size using volume button

    A must for farsighted people depending if you wear your glasses or not when sms arrives... ;-). Should be available in both conversation & sms lists

  6. Have messages change colour with contact picture.

    like in Google's messenger app. Have each conversation a different colour depending on the contacts picture. Plus the ability to change each conversation colour.

  7. Make floating notification expandable and have a text field to type reply even more quickly!

    Similar to iMessage on iOS. Have the Textra floating notification pop up as it does now, but let the user pull downward on it to expand and show the entire message with a text field under it and have the keyboard pop up so the user can reply faster than ever before!

  9. change the background of the text screen and more font options

    To be able to use a picture from your phone or the Internet as a background to texting. Also more fun fonts would be a great idea, since there are limited boring options.

  10. Swipe conversation to call (similar to Samsung)

    In Samsung messages showing multiple conversations you can swipe a conversation right to make a call to the contact. This come very handy and would be neat to have also in textra.

    amazing app this is. I would like to suggest another feature. if you could give an option to customize the theme at a contact level. I mean if I need to set a custom color to each contact

  16. MMS, SMS, etc

    Saving MMS as the filename sent with the proper EXIF data. For me, it always gets renamed numbers and deletes the info. Also, if we could pick the folder(s) to save in.

    Sending location with a map or url to a map that works for both Android and iOS.

    Privacy box. Even a hide/unhide with gesture or special number to dial might work.

    Option to convert SMS into MMS instead of split.

  19. scroll to top of the message.

    Simple button that let's you scroll to the first message from a contact. Make it so once you scroll up a little up arrow button pops up in the corner or something similar.
