  1. Driving Mode

    A mode to send automatic replies while driving. Once enabled have settings to auto enable if paired to a specific device or option to set status as "driving" from the notification drawer. Have the option to manually set your reply ahead of time like "Sup bruh.. can't chat right now I'm driving" and to only respond once to each conversation within a specified time window. Options to also disable all Textra notificatios while driving mode is enabled to prevent distraction to the driver.   2. Sort Unread messages to the top!

    Can we please sort unread messages to the top of the message list? This is much more handy when you get text messages from multiple people and can't respond immediately.

  3. trash bin for accidentally deleted messages.

    Please create a trash bin for text messages that have been deleted accidentally. I was looking for a chat/text that I had going for over a year and I somehow deleted it by accident. It would be nice to have the option to recover those text messages.

  5. Block iPhone "liked" and "loved" messages

    Can you please add an option to block the annoying texts that come from iPhones when people "loved" a text. At least turn off notifications for them?

  6. Add 30-day trash bin.

    After deleting a message it would be nice to be able to recover it sometimes. How about adding a trash bin that holds deleted texts for 30-days?

  7. Backup/Restore Settings and theme

    add the ability to export a file with theme and settings (and possibly backed up texts?)
    and the ability to restore this file

    (much how nova launcher works it works perfectly being able to back this file to Google drive)

    Is there an auto response setup in Textra? Options like, "Can't respond now, I'm driving." or, "Can't respond now, I'm sleeping." or both if you're really talented.

  9. Editable groups

    It would be nice to be able to add and remove contacts within a set group. Currently, I have to create an entirely new group if there are changes (i.e. phone number) to a contact's info that's already in the group.

  10. Attaching Files

    sure would be great to have the ability to attach files to a text message such as pdf and doc(x). I know that I have requested this for a couple of years but if other messaging apps can do this (imessage for example and WhatsApp), what can be hard about doing it for Textra? Thanks

  11. Stock lockscreen notification

    Stock messaging, voicemail, dialer, etc on my Galaxy S4 show a notification on my lock screen which I can tap, unlock the phone, and it takes me to that message in the app.
    This is the only feature I miss using Textra; being able to see the contact and preview text on the lock screen itself without needing to drag down the notification bar just to see who it is from and what it says.
    This feature (I believe) exists on all Galaxy phones running android 4.3 and up.

  12. Add talk to text option. I don't really know what the point of texting audio is. A talk to text option is much more helpful.

    a faster scrolling method for long conversations. when i press on the right column of the scroll bar. i want the conversation to scroll relative to my finger and the length of the conversation

  17. Ability to add "subject" to mms

    When sending a photo/mms I would like to add a subject/caption line. Instead of sending a picture and a subject/caption separately, I want to be able to send it together in a single message.

  18. Be able to remove words from the dictionary

    There should be a way to remove words from the dictionary. I often have ridiculous suggestions come up that i would never use. The biggest example is when gaga shows up more than haha and i would never use gaga

    The emoji need to be bigger compared to the text. As it is, details in the emoji are hard to see until I increase the font size, but then the font is too big.
