  1. To reply when pulling down the status bar kinda like a iphones. & reply from the lock screen

    on ios devices you can watch youtube & reviece a text & reply without ever opening the message app. I would enjoy this on andriod marshmallow.

  3. Show messages from larger groups in conversation

    When displaying a conversation with ONE person (more generally any group that is a SUBgroup) in a group-conversation, then INCLUDE the messages from the larger group (optimally in different colour, and let clicking the bubble jump to the larger conversation).

    Currently when I get a 1:1 reply I can not see what the last message he/she actually got was, if it was a group message, and it can be quite a search to find what a "Yes, I would love that!" really is all about a several days later....

    20 is not enough. There used to be no limit as far as u can remember. What happened ?

  8. Pop up conversation

    This needs to be the priority in your enhancement schedule.
    Enhancement – Pop-Up Reply – Conversation Mode
    • Current State – When Pop-Up reply opens, the receiver has the ability to only reply to one of the senders’ text.

    • Assumption – When Pop-Up reply opens, receiver has the option to replay consistently the sender.
    o Later enhancement – Give options to reply to different contacts from any contact’s Pop-Up message.

    o Possible later mini update – Hanging Pop-Up convos – When you complete a Pop-Up conversation with one contact (but you had multiple people contact you at once) and…

    Please give us an option to scan and change the font. I came across this on and thought it was pretty neat! I love textra but lately i have used chomp bc of that

  11. Aggregate links from conversation

    This is basically the same idea already in the app for media, but for links instead.

    Basically, implement the ability to see all of the links in the conversation history in a single screen. Mirror the implementation of the media functionality.

  12. Textra in the car

    Using the stock app, the car will receive texts and either read them or display them (ford sync). When I switch to textra, this feature does not happen. Would be great if it did.

  13. Double sim icons in messages list

    That would be great if an icon exist in message list on avatar to see where the message Come from sim one or Two. Or such another theme or layout to identify that.

  14. Turn off photo sound

    On Pixel 3, camera makes a sounds when photo is taken despite having phone on vibrate. Cannot find a seeing to turn this off.

    Give the option to turn the shutter sound off when using the camera in-app. My shutter sound is off in the camera app but it still makes a sound when used through textra

  18. MMS gallery folder

    many people have posted about this, and I think I just did but it doesn't appear anywhere that I can see. I'd like the option to save pictures, videos, etc. to a standard folder like Pictures or even DCIM even though they aren't camera pics.

  19. Schedule messages

    Give an option to send a text message at a specific time/date, for example - I write a message at say 6am, but I want it to be sent at 8am when I know the recipient is up. I know Samsung Messaging used to have this option, which I loved, but I don't use their app because I don't like that I don't have the same sort of 'freedom' to change colours that Textra has. For me adding scheduled messages would make the app better than it already is!!!
