Individual customized notification sounds within group messages.
I'd like to have the option to "Allow" customized individual notification sounds to come through in group messages. Many of my contacts have personalized notifications, but when one of them texts me in a group message, I'm not notified with their particular sound. It just notifies me with the notification sound for that group.

Favorites & Signatures
Hello, perhaps you would make "Favorites" contact in a Horizontal line (say 4 or 5) with just the icon. As is, when we mark some one as favorite, they conversation gets locked on top and after 4 or 5 favorite, we have to scroll down for any new text from any one else.
For signatures, would you consider the option of making the font size of the signature smaller so it doesn't look like part of the message? Perhaps a line above it as well
I will most certainly purchase if these can be done. You have an awesome app.…

Add the ability to schedule reoccuring items.
Example: Ability to send a text every Monday at 8:00 AM reminding a friend to bring coffee to work.

contact categories
it'd be nice to separate contacts and set them to arrive in separate inboxes i.e. Work, Family, Close Friends, etc. It's a hassle going through all my texts to delete certain threads and being able to put them in categories would make it so much faster.

Multiple Photo Attach
It would be really convenient if yoy could select more than a single photo at a time to attach to the text.
Instead of having to go through the whole process over and over (especially when the 3 photos you want to attach are all right next to each other, but 100 images down from the top... lol).9 votes -

divider lines and swipe gesture
can you add divider lines for the conversation list kinda like yaata and awsms has (less space between convos) and make the right gesture from conversation to conversation list a little easier to perform

selects the preferred sim card
There is a significant risk to the default choice of the sim for sending the message.

Edit contact persons in a group conversation
Please add an option to remove a person in a group conversation. Also add an option to sort those people in a group conversation to prioritize who's gonna receive the message first

Conversation Statistics
Statistics like number of words and letters, or frequency of messages. Even the average time spent on a conversation could be interesting. Interesting, and very funny.

emergency alert
please please be able to have emergency alert with tetra. I do not want to use the stock message and tetra should be able to get it as so many of us using textra instead of boring stock message. I didn't get any when the false missile alert was on last month in Hawaii. I need to have it in case my husband is at work and I'm with my daughter. What if i was alone with my daughter and didn't know whats going on.. it's scary. please have it available with textra! thanks!!

I would love it if I could have a filter to view all the conversations that have unread messages. my old dumb phone would do this, and I miss it.

background color
did we have a background that is maybe of a foggy type color almost to a transparent color kind of like you are taking a hot shower and that's what gathers on the mirror

Text Bubble Outline
I'd love to have text bubbles have an option to have a colored outline so that the bubble can be black (OLED friendly) and still maintain color. Possibly also coloring the text to the same color as the outline
