  2. Don't use 'MMS for group chats' by default.

    I think use 'MMS for group chats' is bad to switch on by default. Lots of my contacts have MMS set up wrong and don't get the msg at all.

  3. Scroll bar!

    NEEDED!

    1. Select a specific contact's message when searching for keywords.

    2. Set a date range for searches.

    3. When searching for keywords among messages, we need to be able to specify to search among messages from ONLY the CONTACT or ONLY MYSELF.

  6. More customization for conversations

    Be able to change the color of the font in conversations as well as custom backgrounds. Differnet bubble shapes would be bad ass too.

  7. Only open keyboard when I click into the text field (not when scrolling)

    When I'm scrolling down a long thread, they keyboard automatically opens up and sends all the other texts really high up, sometimes making it very difficult to read the top text on the screen (the center of the screen jumps up off screen when the keyboard opens).

    In fact there are alot of suggestions in the feedback that ask for the keyboard to stop auto opening in various places. At lest make it an option.

  8. Pictures and gifs should be actual size in the conversation thread.

    I really think Google messenger has it right on this. The pictures are big in the actual conversation on thread. If this can be incorporated... It would be hot.

  11. Stop the auto muting of music services when receiving or sending message.

    When playing music services (soundcloud.com, etc.) music volume is muted for notification sound. When multiple messages come in the music doesn't return to listening volume but stays at an inaudible level. I'd like to be able to automatically disable message notification sounds while listening to a music service with a menu option...please.

  12. Allow option to disable auto rotate for quick reply.

    In the app it responds to whether or not you've locked screen rotation, which I do--to portrait.

    It would be nice to have the option, since many people prefer the landscape keyboard, or don't want it to switch if they're already in landscape mode.

    I, on the other hand, have a large phone in a big case, and the landscape keyboard is much less comfortable than the portrait one. I'd like to be able to choose portrait all the time, so I can quick reply to messages, even if I'm lying on my side.

  15. Use the phone's stock notification vibration pattern

    I like my Galaxy S6's stock vibration pattern. I would rather use that than use my attempt at trying to mimic it with the custom vibration pattern feature. Now i love the customizability of textra but this is one option where i wish i could just use stock.

  17. Problem with shortened numbers (no area code)

    For whatever reason, when some friends send me MMS, the area code is removed from their number. When they send SMS, the area code is there. Textra sees these as two separate numbers, and separates into two separate conversations... Is there any way to stop this from happening? My other SMS apps don't do this...

  20. Replied icon in conversation list

    Have a small icon before the text message so that you can easily see if you were the last to reply. This is in addition to the unread notification. Thanks for your consideration!
