  1. Include color picker for theme color.

    Instead of choosing from limited number of colors, it would be nice to have color picker for choosing theme color.

  2. Add option for native Android 5.x Lollipop "heads up" style notification.

    See: Google Calendar notifications in Android 5.x for an example. This could either supplement or replace the existing floating notification option. This would be helpful because Android 5.x does not have a notification ticker, so this would allow us to natively view the notification content.

  3. Option to leave read messages marked unread until user replies

    Selecting this option would cause read messages to remain marked "unread" until the user sends a response. Purpose: an aide to remembering to reply for those of us who don't do so immediately.

  4. Android Wear Integration

    Give better support for android wear. Let the users send voice recorded message from watch. This is very useful when driving or when busy. Also, as an option please enable checking past messages directly from watch.

  5. ASCII text to emoticon

    Bring back the conversation of ascii text to emoticons. Standard Android feature and feature of your sister application. If anything, make it an option for users to turn on or off.

  6. option to send any type of file

    I want to send any type of file, such as sound files or ringtones, instead of only pictures. The stock app allows you to, but not Textra; it's really the only thing that is missing.

  7. The ability to change default photo download location

    I receive a lot of pictures that I need to download to my phone. However, because of limited storage on my phone I download then to an album on an SD card. It's super annoying to have to manually move all the photos in the "textra" album of my gallery into a separate album on my SD card. I think it would be cool to set the default download location for pictures

  8. Add more screen colors, bubble styles and fonts

    Would love to see more backgrounds aside from just light, dark and black. I personally don't need them, but it would help round out customization. Same with bubbles and fonts. Keep up the great work

    Either replace or provide another option of the auto night mode to switch between light and AMOLED black instead of gray.

  10. Backup app settings to Google Play

    Make this app work with Google's automatic backup & restore so that if uninstall the app temporarily, factory reset, or move to a new phone, I don't have to manually set all the options back to how I like them.

  13. secret mode

    Please make a secure folder with fingerprint authentication to hide messages in. I've only used this app simply bc it's the best. The blacklist is the only way to hide contacts but it's not exactly secure. I've been looking towards other apps like mood for this one reason only.

  14. Add/Delete members from group chat/text message group.

    I'm in 2 groups for my college for classes I am in and it is annoying that each time I want to add someone I have to start up a new group, same with removing someone.

    This would be awesome to be added in the next version.

  15. External Storage Option - allow for app settings to choose external storage.

    When in settings/application manager/ textra/ storage, there is no option to move and store all data on the installed external storage chip. my data is too large to keep in the internal storage and I need this option. Please advise when this option will be included in your next revision. thank you.

    I need to backup sms. in case if I lose my phone I could restore all messages. it would be great if there were automatic backup (weekly, monthly)

  18. Edit group text recipients

    It would be great to edit the list of recipients on a group text. It could technically create a new message if necessary, but many times I have started to type a group text only to realize I left someone out or needed to remove someone. It's a hassle to go back and re-create the group each time that happens.
