  2. contact pins

    i think it would be cool to have message pins. like someone you text often you can pin them and they'll always show on top of your messages list. think it'd be useful.

  4. filter for unknown senders

    I keep getting messages from weird email addresses that I do not know. I put them on the block list, but I keep getting new ones from different email addresses. Maybe add a filter that would automatically block these?

  5. Keyword Notification

    The ability to define keywords that the sender can place within a text message to activate a specific notification sound and/or override DND settings. This would allow the sender to let you know a message is urgent by changing the notification sound based on a pre-arranged keyword (like "urgent"), or override the DND setting using a keyword like "!emergency!".

    I am constantly receiving spam text messages that all have one bit of information in common. I would love to have the ability to say, "always block messages containing _____."

  9. There appears to be a problem with messages sent to friends with iphones where the messages do not delivered

    It takes 2-3 attempts before the messages are delivered. Sometimes I am not notified until hours later.

  10. Does anyoe know if Google One backup service is fully compatible with Textra?

    That is, if I get a new phone and restore everything on it via the Google One app, will all my messages show up exactly the same as they were in Textra?

    could you implement a privacy feature where the users can hide some chats. unlocked by the fingerprint sensor or pin .... it would really help with people snooping

  15. Option to move send button location (in the way)

    All the buttons are too close and it's too easy to send a message before you have finished typing it. Having the option to move the button to a different part of the screen would great. Thank you

    just like whatsapp or signal please add a reply feature so you can reply to a certain msg inside a conversation. in other apps you swipe on the msg and u reply w that msg inside yours, this allows people to know what your responding to.

  17. Date format

    Could you please add an option to switch between date formats? Currently there is only MM/DD/YYYY available. It would be nice to have DD/MM/YYYY (or DD.MM.YYYY) for European users.

  18. allow option to separate messages from contacts and new numbers

    This could act sort of as a spam filter for all the spam messages I've been getting. disabled by default this would disable sound notification for unknown numbers and put them in a separate folder or tab. that way if I'm expecting a message I know I can check there otherwise I can just ignore it

  19. Blocklist & Delete

    currently when we blocklist, we can't delete the message easily, and it shows up in other text apps as well as windows, etc. we need a combined function that blocks the numbers then deletes the text as one button.

  20. Per Message "Chat" or "Bulk" Mode Setting

    Hello, in Textra's MMS settings you can select between Chat- replies go to everyone & Bulk-replies come only to you. I am use to this being a send option when I am sending a message. Can you please add such an option? The global setting is good, but an option to change how the current message is being sent without changing the default would be very helpful. Thank You!
