  1. Durable SIM selection

    Add the ability to disable the SIM selection icon in the message box. Too often I accidentally hit it and send from the wrong number. Make it a global settings menu option, along with the ability to disable the icon.

  3. Category tabs

    I just tried Microsoft's SMS Organizer and it has some features.

    1. Can you add Categories and filter sms based on the subject?

    2. Allow users to create at least 5 categories.

  4. Emojis cut off at top

    I've tried adjusting font size but it makes no difference. The top of the emojis are getting cut off.

  5. Group messaging NOT working

    My group messaging isn’t working between me (an android), another android user, and iOS. iOS messages come back fine the android ones don’t. What’s up?!

    I HAVE switched the group message setting as suggested but it still doesn’t work!

  6. Color Saturation Slider

    I love the customizability of the colors but some of them seem really saturated to me. A slider that gives me control of how deep or how pastel the colors are would be a lovely addition!

  8. Message sorting.

    If your app had 3 tabs,

    1. One for personal messages, from contacts and regular phone numbers.
    2. Another for transactional messages; OTPs, verification codes, Bank transaction alerts, automated responses, etc.
    3. A third for promotional messages; telemarketers, all those annoying messages from 5-digit numbers, messages from blacklisted numbers also go under this tab so we can read them if we want to.

    Then, we can set alert customizations for each tab so the promotional tab can be muted and transactional tab set to just vibrate while the personal tab plays an alert tone as well.

  10. contact nickname in group chat

    it would be great to give contacts in a group chat a nickname that is local to that group chat without actually creating a contract in my phone. I am often in group chats with random phone numbers. I don't necessarily want to add these numbers to my contact list, but it would be great to give them a nickname - either specific to the textra app as a whole, or specific to the current group chat thread

  12. Message options while typing

    While typing text, it would be great to be able to type a word in ITALICS, BOLD, or have the STRIKETHROUGH options when long pressing on that word. WhatsApp has those options. Many times I've wanted to BOLD print or Italicize and can't. I have to tell you your app so far is the best I've tried! Love the app, but would like these suggestions.

  15. Timed text.

    send a message at a specific time and date so you can message people things they may forget about in the morning. This way people do not open that message and both users forget about it. for example sending a message to a friend then have it actually send at 7am v.s present time.
