  4. backup message support with google drive backup

    there are lot of sms backup options but if you include the same options with textra sms it will be great a one stop solution for message back up and restore while switching phones..no need of copying the xml files between phones

    I really love the UI you guys have developed for texting, and was curious as to whether you would think about integrating calling into your program, or at least changing the calling GUI to something more aesthetically pleasing, much like this app. Thanks all

    In the basic messaging app installed on my phone, i am capable of changing the background of a conversation to any picture i want. this would be great to do! Rather then the plain solid shades of black grey or white....

    Thank you for adding choice of None signature while composing message.
    BUT - it is very needed also to make NONE as default signature at settings, because when I compose sms - mainly I do not use signature and just sometimee need to add it. Ordinary when I am writting first time to new person.
    But if there is no None as default - than I always have to remember remove default signature and set it to None. Or I have to go to settings to set adding of signatures.
    Please add this small feature.

  15. Auto Responder

    Would like to see auto responder. Driving mode - when driving and utilizing Bluetooth automatically alerts with a text that I'm in driving mode and I cannot talk. Deactivates the yext alert on my end so I'm not interrupted while driving. Also would like to see autoresponder for long-term away messages. Verizon Wireless text messaging app has those features. Textra is much more functional but those are two features I utilized frequently with my business

  16. Auto recognize Emoji Text

    Other apps (yaata and chomp) auto recognize and insert emoji. When I type :) and hit enter to send, it auto converts :) to ☺. This would make a great app near perfect!

  19. Allow to write the message first!

    Kindly allow either to enter a recipient number or to write a message, instead of current trend of adding recipient first, followed by composing the message. As there are times when we want to compose a message first, then add recipient numbers.

  20. Bug when Do Not Disturb is on

    Notifications still sound when Do Not Disturb for Favorite Contacts is on. Notifications will only disable if Alarms Only Or Ko Interruption is selected for Do Not Disturb.
    I'm using Huawei Mate 9. Please fix.
