  1. address recognition

    I get lots of address by text message since I'm always on the road but I always got to copy and paste it in Google maps and since we can only copy the whole message, not just a small part, it's not practical. My idea is, make textra recognize home address like other apps we only click on it then it brings us directly to google maps. Thanks for reading and sorry for my English it's not my first language.   3. Bug Fix: Release 3.49 Not Recognizing All Contacts

    I just upgraded to Release 3.49. When I create a new text, TEXTRA is not recognizing all of my Contacts. I had to go directly to my contact and sent the text from the Contact screen.

  6. Two color outlined text is difficult to read

    Two color text: one color outlining letters, another color within the outlines, such as used for the date & time stamp of the message, is very difficult to read compared with standard text on the display

    It would be best if the user could change this text to a single color vs. the contrasting background.

  7. When forwarding a message

    When forwarding a message to a person, i think it's better if it'll show you the latest persons you texted with.
    Cause if the person your texting isnt saved, it's a huge headache.
    Think about it it's not that hard to program it in my opinion.
    Besides that amazing beautiful app.

  8. Remove SIM card from being selected if inactive

    I have a dual sim setup but usually only have one active at the same time. I don't want to be able to switch to the inactive sim card accidently when sending a message.

  9. 1 notication for rapid fire text received

    There are some people that like to send rapid text messages. Example 5 text messages in a span of 10-20 seconds. Is it possible to only get ONE sound notification instead of 5 notifications?

  10. allow moving of the back button to near where the android back button is

    Android 8.0 constantly is hiding the back button before I am finished using it, because it requires more than one press, but hides after the first press on the heads-up view (when Textra temporarily overlaps all other apps). The built-in back button on Textra is at the very top left, completely away from where the thumb is, so I have to switch hands and fingers everytime I want to exit Textra, which is annoying enough to make me want to look for other apps.     I definitely think we need a better gif search feature. I find myself having to swap to other messaging apps when I want to send gifs. other than that Textra is great. long time pro user.

  14. message i want to forward won't stay editable till sending

    when i want to forward a sms and add some text , it won't stay in editing mode till i send it, like a normal sms i am still working on does.

    i would be very glad if you can discuss this problem in your team and maybe you find a solution for this with the next update roll out?

  15. Graphics

    Add the feature that allows you to hover over an emoticon for a description that is also searchable. Otherwise, great app!!! Waiting for more "live" graphics, too. People love those, and so do I!! Thanks Team Textra!!!!

  16. When contact open play receive sound

    I am often in a conversation with a person and working at the same time. The idea is to have Textra play the receive notification when the specific contact is open to let me know they replied/responded. If it were not for the vibration (which I do not always hear), I would no know they replied.

  19. Navigation Bar - Night Mode

    Textra is one of the only few app I have remaining that doesn't change the color of the navigation bar on my device when it's set to night mode. Hopefully this is something that can be easily added/implemented.
