When typing in contact's name, then list of contacts appears, you select one, and cursor goes automatically to the body of the message. I think the cursor should stay in the recipient's box, that way you can start to type the next recipient's name.

We need Dual Sim Option!
1st. We need that option to choose sim1 or sim2
2nd. if the message were sent in sim1 or sim2
P.S. (even android stock messaging had that)

The app isn't automatically saving pictures when it once did. What can I try?

send key
Please give the option to move the send key away from the keyboard. It's too easy to hit send (the delay helps some, but not enough).

issue retrieving photo video or group texts
I get a message from textra telling me that i "cant retrieve/ SMS" (something like that) Every time I notice the message itll clear itself. I obviously have no clue who they are coming from and if I'm missing a picture, video or a group text. Why is this happening!? It very annoying! My phone is on the verizon network and I have the paid version of textra. Help!

Need ability to add a photo or launch camera to add a picture to text.
Only way today: go to camera or gallery, take a picture or select one, click share, choose textra. All other text apps give you choices but textra only gives microphone voice to text via keyboard. Quite odd this missing link, especially given outside in via external app share works.

No LED at all
I just got Textra. It has options for the LED, but my LED doesn't flash at all. Am I missing a step or am I doing something wrong?

assign different text bubble colors to specific contacts.
I would like to have the option to make my friend's texts color theme white and my fiancee's text color theme pink, and my father's text color black.

the part where one message is stuck on top, like when you have a contact that you frequently talk to will stay on top such that it will not be pushed down when there are new messages.

when phone is on silent textra should not notify via sound. if cant find a work around I will be tempted to leave and find another service.
While phone is turned to silent, textra should also turn to silent and no noise notification. Will have to fin a work around or may have to leae which is too bad as I love everything else

When using the dark background and you need to manually position the cursor, have the magnified text and cursor become darker or lighter.
Right now, everything in the magnified area is just shades of grey so you can't see the cursor and don't know quite where it's being moved. In the white background theme, it's dark and easily seen. I'd really like to see it contrasted appropriately.

Support Twitter emojis
Add the choice to display emojis in the Twitter style alongside Google and Apple styles. The Twitter style had the flat design aspect we all love without the abstraction of the Google style.

Is it possible to select the mobile numbers to show by their first numbers (in France 06 or 07) and not by the selection of "mobile number" in the contacts ?...

Put people on the top of the screen
Like in others app, it could be useful to put contacts in "favorites" to let them on the top of the screen and send them messages faster.
