  1. Searching with in one contact

    Hi!
    The current search feature is a general one that searches through so texts. I often know which contact I need to search, but cannot search only within that person's texts. If you could develop a search only within one contacts threats of conversations, that would make like so much easier!

  3. Faster opening

    If back key would call "go home screen" instead of "close application", then next open would be faster (without blink of gray background).

  4. Send messages to all the contacts with a single click

    Add an option to select all contacts as recipients of the SMS with a single click. This would be really helpful on various occasions when someone needs to send a single message to all his/her contacts and avoid that hectic procedure to select contacts one by one.

  5. placeholder for ads

    I love Textra and the ads don't bother me at all. But, one slightly annoying thing is that when first loading Textra, just before I'm about to click on one of the conversations (just before the ad has shown), the entire list shifts down, causing me to either select the ad, or the wrong conversation. Why not put a placeholder in the spot where the ad is going to be loaded into so that there is no shifting up or down?

  6. Shape the Textra Icon to match the Android Oreo Icon Look

    Like most other apps, is there a way to change the shape of the actual icon to mimic the Android Oreo Icon look? It will help to add cohesion to the look of all the icons on the home screen. LOVE THE APP, BY THE WAY! Thanks for your work!

    I haven't seen an option or maybe I'm missing it, but would it be possible to have app close after send? Kind of like the keyboard closing after send? Thanks

  16. Continue replying in the notification

    The current version of Textra allows replying in the notification area but once the reply is sent the notification goes away. I would like to have the option to continue replying through the notification panel.

    Folders to store messages in I need or want to keep because I hate having a long lust of what looks like continued or new messages... plus I do not like people looking over my shoulder and my text messages. etc

    same as the previous Notification Badges post, the badge count zeros when the notification pulldown is swiped. the badge count should remain unread because the notification pulldown was just dismissed, and not read entirely.
